Boardwalk Club insights

Hello All,

Looking for some of your opinions...My family and friends (we usually travel in a pack of 15 ; 6 adults and 9 kids, all at the same ages) have never stayed at The Boardwalk (although have visited countless times for dinner, etc.) but the kids are between the ages of 12 - 16 where I think they'd appreciate the surroundings and freedom to walk/adventure around. We've always stayed at the Poly Club level and really like many aspects of it...looking at the Boardwalk club level, it seems to be on the 4th floor and opposite of the main pool (DVC side). Not sure we'd maximize club level at the Boardwalk like we do at the Poly, just based on it's location. Any general thoughts on comparing the Boardwalk and Poly, for those who have stayed at both (club or standard) other than the obvious differences, like monorail access, etc. ?

I've read many reviews on the Boardwalk, general sentiment is positive.

All opinions welcome and thanks for any replies as we're looking for a change-of-scenary ;)

I think one of the main things to look at with a group that big is that when staying at the Boardwalk it allows freedom to go to 2 different parks that are very close (EPCOT and HS) along with proximity to walk around several other resort areas (Yacht/Beach, Swan/Dolphin). Plus with all those resorts plus Boardwalk, there are plenty of places to eat, walk to, hang out at. ESPN, Beaches & Cream, Boardwalk games, etc. I can't really speak to the club level other than I "heard" the polys is a little better but not by much.
