Blue Bayou Availability?

Hello! I'm planning a trip to Disneyland, and would like to dine at Blue Bayou. I'm not seeing any availability on the 60-day calendar (despite playing with multiple dates/times), and also noticed that it's not coming up as an option to book for Fantasmic! dining packages. Does anyone have any insight as to why this might be? Is there another upcoming Pirates refurb? Or is BB THAT popular these days? Thank you!

Sometimes it's popularity, but sometimes:
1.) They slack and don't put the reservations available at 60 days. There was a trip where I kept seeing no availability for several days, only for there to suddenly be a day when seemingly every time slot was magically available.
2.) You get better results if you book for a group of four if you're a smaller group. This happened to me with Napa Rose; no availability until I switched it to four and magically a bunch of tables appeared.

Not sure if it's changed since then, but in 2022 you didn't have to book the F! package separately; we were simply able to ask for the package and take part in it through a normal dining reservation.

Thanks so much! And you were right...I had to play the good ol' "change group size" game to see any availability, and then I was able to modify accordingly.

When I went in May I had to book it ahead of time and when I got there my name was one a physical paper list. I believe this is what they've been doing since F! reopened due to popularity.

Before WoC went down for the Halloween season it was doing what you described. It's still on the website:

But for Fantasmic! the website specifically states that you need a dining reservation.

To the OP, there are websites like MouseDining or Thrill Data that you can enter the days you want to reserve and it will alert you through email. Since other people do that too you have to respond fairly quickly. The only other option is to continue to keep checking periodically.
