BLT Contemporary wi-fi

OK, so it looks like we may have to take the laptop - as opposed to technology as I am while at WDW as we like to disconnect from the outside world - and get a bit of work done a few hours possibly each day. Anyone have experience with how reliable the wi-fi is at BLT and the Contemporary? I'm thinking maybe some time on the balcony, then down by the BLT Pool and possibly for a change of pace, over at the Contemporary Pool, then inside the atrium at CR as well. Different places for a change of pace?

Most of the resort WiFi is fairly consistent in our testing. You are looking at around 3mb download and 3mb upload, with around a 90ms ping time. There are some completely dead spots, but in the main common areas you wont have an issue.

Contemporary Wifi was fine. Nothing like I've experienced in the past at Disney (happily) where the signal constantly drops or the network "locks up" and I have to release/renew (or rejoin) to get it to work again.

Thank you. While I would prefer to leave it at home, sometimes it can't be helped. This trip, it is going to be necessary to put in a few hours every day it looks like. I can deal with slower speeds if need be but dropping connections drives me nutty.

I used Contemporary wifi last night in the lobby for an hour and it was solid. No issues.
