Blizzrd Beach Capacity

When Blizzard Beach closes due to capacity, do they still allow resort guests in? We are trying to do something for our 1st day, as we arrive around noon. Someone told me they will let you in if you come in on a resort bus.

Do you need to be checked in or just catch a bus at the resort?

I can't speak for this year cause we don't get to WDW until Sat., but 2 years ago while staying at the Poly, we wanted to go to Typhoon and when the bus came, the driver said it was "at capacity" so we switched gears and headed to Blizzard.
