Blizzard Beach vs Typhoon Lagoon

I know this has been previously debated....but I'm interested to hear if Typhoon Lagoon still wins even without the swimming with the Sharks (super bummed that's gone.) I've been to both but it was about 10 years ago and pre-kids so I'm not sure which one to visit this next trip. From what I remember Blizzard Beach felt far from relaxing and felt kind of like being on the surface of the sun- (super bright, no shade etc). Typhoon Lagoon has the great wave pool (my kids are too young to enjoy) and the relaxing lush tropical feel....but a little too similar to the water park we have up here on Long Island. I'm leaning blizzard bc I'm a sucker for theming (even if snow is bizarre) and for the kiddie areas (as long as there's no sign of Frozen there!)
Anyone want to throw in their two cents?

Typhoon Lagoon wins hands down.. It has Crush N Gusher, ‘nuf said.

Definitely Typhoon. Better overall ambience, it seems to be kept up better, and it did just get a new ride...while at the same time Blizzard just closed three slides for no apparent reason.
