Blizzard Beach Construction

I just got back from a wonderful weekend at WDW. While riding the bus back to CBR I noticed a large area dug up with concrete pipes sitting on the land next to the enterance road to Blizzard Beach. Anyone know what's being built there?

It is probably nothing. I guess maybe more bus stops or just a redesigned entrance.

When I was there at the end of April, early May those pipes were there as well. Some kind of construction going on but not sure what.

They're expanding the parking lot. In order to do so, must create proper drainage. They've already completed the first part... the second part is in the works.

As for the side area there, Im guessing that's either going to be a construction staging area, or bus parking.

I've been to WDW the past 3 Januarys, and love BB. Unfortunately, it seems like they only re-furb in January.

Is anyone aware of the schedule this year? Any chance the park might be open in Jan?
