If any of you are planning a Trip to So. California?
Make sure you stop by Disney`s California Adventure!!
I was there today and I saw the New Stage show Blast!!
Let me tell you They sure picked the right name for that show!
You will have a Blast watching it!
If you dont like anything else in the Park ( Which I think is Hard not to) Then See Blast!! It is worth the Price to get into DCA
I want to get out my Trumpet and Play along They were Great ! Full of Energy!!!
Cant wait to see them again!

I had the whole show memorized by the time they left DW. Standing outside and listening to 4 shows a day was pretty cool. Especially the drum part.

If you are there, definitely go. It is worth it.

I saw Blast at Epcot over the summer. and again last thrusday (and Sat ) Here in Baltimore. You don't just have to go to Disney to see them. YELLOW!

I LOVED Blast! at Epcot. I want to see it at DCA as soon as I can go.. *sighs*.

The Power of Blast! Is probably one of the best things that has happened to DCA since it opened.

Quick story...one time, at band camp...*oops, wrong story* Seriously though, I went once and sat near a high school band group who was there for Magic Music Days. You should have seen their faces during the whole show! Especially when the drumline came out, and the set frame was flown down...WOW. It was cool the first time I saw it, but it is more fun to be around people who have never seen it.

I saw Blast last year at EPCOT. What a show!!! Having been a Band (Marching Band) Parent for 5 Years it was fabulous to see how they took this form of entertainment to the next level. If you have a chance to see it -Just Do It!

After the show, the cast members stood around and talked and said hello to the Guests. At least half, if not more, of the audience stuck around to talk to the CM's and tell them how faboulus the show was. It looked like the CM's were on Cloud Nine - They just gave a great show and the audience was fawning all over them. I wouldn't mind being in a cast like that.

It is also a Broadway show. I'm going at the end of May to see it. I'm a HUGE marching band freak. The spanish part of it, we are doing as our show! I can't wait to see it!

Also, watch your local PBS station during thier begging weeks. They usually show a video of the Broadway version during those weeks.

My Co-Worker made a Copy of the Soundtrack from The Power of Blast!!
He got it off a site called Grokester.com
He said its free,, Like Napster used to be.
it sounds pretty Cool.

If ya like Blast!, try going to a High School Band Comp. They are kinda similar, and if ya live in michigan, go to one of the ones Lakeshore is at, we are good!!!!

Blast is marching band gone broadway. That's the best way to describe it. The offical site is www.blasttheshow.com I get to go see it the end of may!!

Great show,,, when you exit the upper levels you can see over the fence into the pit where the Tower of Terror is being constructed.. opening in 2004..

I'm going to see the actually thing, wish I could go to DCA/DL. but I'm stuck in MI. I get to go to good old Grand Rapids, and see it!!

DVD - Blast

They sell the DVD at DCA, but it is expensive, 40.00. You can get it for half the price at Amazon.com. The show is awesome. Next trip to DLR that will be my first destination. If anyone goes to the show check the front row out and see if there is a little old lady there with gray hair. She goes to just about every show, talk about groupies. I think she also always wears a denim baseball cap. Have a Disney Day!!!

Great tip there dianedisney regarding the DVD. We saw the $40's and thought YIKES!. I'll have to check out amazon.
