Six Flags America is in the Dark tonight and hundreds of customers are upset at the theme park company. According to Baltimore Gas and Electric officials, earlier tonight a brownout in the Largo MAryland area sent hundreds of customers - including the Six Flags theme park - into the dark. Guests were admiteted even when the rides weren't working angering many. Guest Relations offered guests a coupon for free admission on another day when the rides were working, yet few actual refunds.
Six Flags america is the same theme park that had guests stuck on rides twice during the past month, including a four-hour ordeal televised nationally that had guests stuck in mid air for hours. Guests told WUSA-TV that they were stuck on several rides "for hours" after the power went off."
Six Flags officials told WUSA-TV that they intend to reopen tomorrow on schedule.
