WOW, are they STILL together?

Sabbath are still kicking around. I have the album on pre-order. The Heaven & Hell album a big memory from my teenage years.

I've always liked Sabbath. I saw them touring years ago behind some alblum called "Dehumanizer" but they played some of the classics.

Pumbas - I thought you might like old school metal. I remember a couple of weeks ago you did a play on words using the name of Lemmy Kilmeister. I wondered the percentage of people on WDWmagic who immediately thought I should listen to Ace of Spades or Killed by Death before I go to bed tonight (I actually thought this). Aaaaah, the dulcet tones of Lemmy.

Back to the original topic - I also saw Dio on some random solo tour in grad school. He had some lead guitarist that was terrible but seemed to meet one very stringent requirement - he was shorter than Dio!:ROFLOL:

Saw Mr Kilminster and the boys on the last tour at Xmas, and on Saturday purchased my tickets for their tour later in the year with Alice Cooper.:)

Trying to do at least one show a month, saw Journey last week and seeing Jethro Tull next.

Mind you I cant believe I have jst paid £85 ($150) per ticket to see the reformed Police.

As for Download, there are no day tickets and apart from Maiden and Crue I dont want to pay £145 to watch bands who have issues with their parents.:animwink:

 Not into whiner rock? "Dad, I only want to make you proud of me...." Gee, whiz, son. You can start by not being such a wuss.

"Reincarnation" has got a cool hook; very much like the Maiden of old. Motley's always fun. Chicks, booze and motorcyles.

Perhaps. Can Billy play the guitar (he does meet the exquisitely short requirement!)? I don't remember the name of the album (this would have been within a year or two of 1995), but most of the "new" songs at the time were terrible. We actually started to leave the concert, but once we got to the exit they started to play Rainbow in the Dark, so we turned right around and walked back in.

Bring back the proper Monsters of Rock festival. A proper gig for grown ups rather than a black clothing convention for acne sufferers. What a waste of Donny especialy now its only 30 mins away.

Guess Ill have to make do with Gabriel and Aerosmith at Hyde park.

The site says they are not doing day tickets this year.

Not into Kreator type bands, infact took great pleasure in hurling stuff at Biohazard on the small stage at my last proper Donnington.

Just had an e-mail from Aloud about Metalica, not sure about going, If I go to Hyde Park and ive already got Genesis tickets. then the minor matter of a Florida trip in August:) . And Mrs Sak wants a Mini Cooper.

You make me feel old. At least I know most of the bands in this post. I like Slayer, but I don't know anything about their recent stuff. I quit buying Metallica after I scientifically determined that the Black alblum was the start of an era of weeniness. I own some NIN, am familiar with the Foo Fighters (even though I don't really like them), but I've got to admit - I've never heard of Kreator.
