Birthday's at Disneyland - GCH

I am hoping to get some ideas to make a birthday memorable at Disneyland.

It will be our first trip with my in laws, we decided to splurge and booked the Grand Californian Hotel based on location. We will be celebrating my mother in law's 60th birthday and my father in law's retirement... I have been able to add character dining for her birthday. It just seems I can always spread some more pixie dust... Any ideas?

We will be there the first week of march... hoping for not so crowded parks.

Make sure you guys go see World of Color at DCA! They have great dining packages to get slightly better seating than you would with fastpasses.

World of Color will be down in early March - so see Fantasmic instead. It also has dining packages.

Dang it. I forgot about that part! @GiveMeTheMusic is 100% correct on going for Fantasmic. That's a great show too! They just started doing fast passes for that show...does anybody know how that is going?

The last time I spent my birthday in Disneyland, we had dinner at the Chef's Counter at Napa Rose. It was an outstanding experience, and one I hope to repeat (with wine pairing!) for my 30th next year.

We are so excited to see Fantasmic, we avoided weekends during our last two trips in order to avoid crowds... so it turned out to work perfect for us that WOC will be down.
