Birthday Buttons

I'm taking a friend to Disney this weekend for her birthday. I was wondering about the buttons that you can get at guest relations that say "Today is my Birthday". Are they only available at guest relations outside the gates? We all know those lines can get long and be very slow moving. I was hoping they might be available somewhere inside the park. Any suggestions?

There's GR inside the gates as well. Usually lines aren't as bad. And even when the lines are long, I've found they move fairly well.

I've got all 4 buttons a few years back (MK's & D/MGM's are the same) . Then I heard that it's just one standard Button which I wouldn't mind to collect.

Although AK and MK are the same, I still got all four of them. At the MK when I asked for a button the CM said hold on a minute. She then turned her back to me and then turned back around and handed me a telephone. When I answered, it was Mickey and he wished me a happy birthday. I was 60, but it was still a high light of the day.:sohappy:

Just an update to this... When I went in December I got an annual pass and the ticket taker asked for my liscense to write the info down faster and she saw my birthday was in a couple days ... so then she handed me a pin after writing my name on it ... so yes I wore a pin ... and I actually had a cast member run after me at one point calling my name and when I turned around he said "Hi Rose Ann , I just wanted to wish you happy birthday" ... the only down side was that when I went on Rock n rollercoaster the bar kinda pressed down on my pin and it opened up... but I refused to loose it so I kinda pressed it down so it wouldn't fall off. Of course since it was open that meant the pin dug right into my chest OW... the most painful ride I have ever been on but hey I still have the pin :D .
OOh and when I had tea at the grand floridian my mom let it slip it was my birthday ... next thing you know I had a tiarra on my head and 3 roses and a cupcake... yum ... I love my happy birthday tiarra

We asked one og the roaming cm's in a blue shirt with a large bag. he had just given buttons to some family for thier first visit. it was my wife's bithday a few weeks prior to us going. we told him, and he told us he was out of buttons, but the female cm on the other side of the park had one. He called over to her. He asked us where we were headed, we told him Small world. We were told she would meet us there. We were greeted by three of these roaming cm's and they gave her the button and sung happy birthday to her at the exit to Small World. the rest of the day, those three went out of thier way to pop into lines, resturaunts, and anywhere they had seen us just to yell Happy Birthday!! ......and people wonder why we go back to disney year after year. They also gave the rest of us various buttons too.

So it's ok that even though my bday is the 29th of Jan and we're celebrating it in Feb (3-9) at Disney if I get a button, even though it's not "the day?" We're celebrating mine and daughters, hers is the 5th of Jan, will they give her one also?

We're planning on getting the Anniversary buttons in March, even though our anniversary is in January. The trip is to celebrate our anniversary, and we probably won't wear them around... they're just a cute souvenir.

It's kinda sad they went to 1 size fits all. My older girls ran to each park on their 16th day (the trip is always their gift) to get unique pins. This year, the youngest got a generic one (she really wanted the world flag one from Epcot) and was really bummed. The one cool part of the CM at City Hall who wrote a bday message for her in Arabic on the back.
