Well, a miracle has happened and I'm going to be celebrating my 30th birthday next weekend at Epcot. Does anyone know if they give out the birthday buttons there like they do at City Hall at the Magic Kingdom? If so, where to they give them out at?

Thanks for the responses. The "Happy Birthday" in the different languages sounds really cool!

One other question, do they ask for proof it's your birthday when you ask for a birthday button? I might not be going on my exact birthday (the 8th) as I think I'm doing dinner with friends, but I might be going the day after (weather permitting).

I have never seem a WDW birthday button. Do you mean birthday pin? Any pics? I will make it a point to ask when we are there in Sept-Oct. Both my wife and I have birthdays during the year. That's close enough, isn't it? :goodnevil

Your b-day is on the 8th too???

I will be hitting the MK in the AM and then eating dinner and heading over to Epcot for ROE and getting my pin there too!!

Are there different pins for the different parks???

Yes there are pins for each of the parks. My wife's birthday is on Sept 15th while we are in WDW so we are going to go to all 4 parks that day to get them all :D

Yes my birthday is on the 8th. People keep asking me if it bothers me about turning 30 and I just say "BRING IT ON!"

I didn't even know about the birthday buttons until reading about them here. I just want to see what happens while wearing one.

I called and ordered my Play 4 Days pass tonight. Woo-hoo!!!

Nope - Just walk up to the counter and ask for one, they did not ask for proof. At Crystal Palace the night before my sons birthday, he ran up to me while making our dinner reservations and said something like I have 6 hours till mt birthday. I noticed the CM writing something down, but didn't pay any mind to it. When we went to our table they had decorated with streamers, confetti and of course a card signed by all the Pooh characters. It was really coo.

Actually, I was hoping there would be a dif pin for all 4 parks, but back on my bday this year (March), MGM's pin was the same as MK's. I don't get why that is; lol. So as I know of, there are 3 - AK, MK, and Epcot.

It's a button, not a pin (like the ones you trade). CM's will tell you Happy Birthday all day long.

My daughter was wearing one on her birthday at MK - while I was sitting on the sidewalk waiting for Spectro she decided to go get an ice cream. The place was packed. After asking what kind of ice cream she wanted, the CM said so how old are you today and what's your name? After she replied, the CM stood on his chair and yelled to the packed store "Can I have your attention please? Today is Lindsay's 12th birthday, let's sing Happy Birthday to her." They did, the entire store. I was sitting right outside the door and heard the whole thing

Last year, when I was working at MK, I got a birthday button on my Disney birthday, May 9. Everybody kept wishing me a happy birthday and when I told them it was my Disney b-day, they all looked at me like I was crazy! Hey, it was the day I became a CM...a very important day to me! I love wearing my MK b-day pin on my b-day even if though I'm never at MK for my b-day!
