Bioshock Movie Announced

I think this could be one of the best video game to movie translations of all time. This game just screamed movie as I was playing. As long as they stay true to the game I think this could be one killer movie, and with [SIZE=-1]Gore Verbinski (from all 3 pirates movies) directing, I have some faith. I was half expecting them to say Uwe Boll was going to direct, and that would have really stunk. Anyone else excited? Or am I the only nerd.:lookaroun

BIOSHOCK F'INN OWNS absoloutely loved it, im hoping your also excited about bioshock 2 also confirmed. it should be a good twist into a movie how ever it should be shot purely first person.

Yea Im very excited about bioshock 2 as well. Im not sure though if I would like to see them go prequel or sequel. As for the movie I wonder when we start to hear about casting.

Yes a Mr bubbles t-shirt would be pretty sweet.:lol: Or a "Would you kindly" shirt would be great.

I was happy to hear that he was going to stick with the source material. That seems to be the biggest problem with movies based on video games, straying too far off the original idea. If the original story stays intact, and they use the original writers to fill in some of the holes, its going to be awesome.

Can't wait for this to finally come to the PS3 this winter. Finally the only major 360 exclusive title that I've been super interested in will be on the PS3. Can't wait.
