Alright I don't know if anyone on here is a Chiver but i have a tshirt with Bill Murray on it. Well some kid just asked me who was on my shirt. I said Bill Murray and he asked me who that was. I think he has to be kidding? What young adult doesnt know who Bill Murray is?

He also said hes never seen Ghostbusters, Caddyshack, or Groundhog Day

Think about it there's movies are almost 30 years old now when you were a kid how many movies did you see from the 50s?

I could see if this person was an adult. This person was a kid, I wouldn't expect any kid nowadays to know who Bill Murray is.

I live with someone who pretty much has never heard of, nor seen anything most people know about. This includes movies, music, stores, shows, anything. It's the way she was raised. She didn't have cable in her home as a kid and her parents are foreign. It's more common than people think.

I called my niece who is 16 and asked her if she knew who Bill Murray is. Her answer, yes, he's the voice of Garfield and that's all she knew. For me, Stripes is one of my favorite movies.
