Don't be silly. To do that they would need to drain the Rivers of America. Oh wait....They're retheming it to Cars.

Probably expecting lots of out of town visitors for the 70th.Either something really big is going down this spring, or TDA must be worried funding will dry up later this year. They are really pushing these fall rehabs,
Cleanup of the entire resort pre-70th. Same thing was done in the build up to the 60th.Either something really big is going down this spring, or TDA must be worried funding will dry up later this year. They are really pushing these fall rehabs,
I remember an awful lot of stuff happening the spring before the 60th, not fall. What is left to rehab? I know Pirates has its queue expansion, but Indy, Jungle Cruise, HM, Tiana and now BTMRR will have recently undergone rehabs. Is ROA going to get drained again? Rise close? Matterhorn? I think they are the only E tickets left that haven’t been rehabbed.Cleanup of the entire resort pre-70th. Same thing was done in the build up to the 60th.
I’m not sure your point here. Many areas of the Park are 70 years old and it takes longer to refurb them than they did in years past. So just because they started earlier than they did for the 60th and are taking longer than they did for the 60th doesn’t mean there is some ulterior motive.I remember an awful lot of stuff happening the spring before the 60th, not fall. You misunderstand my amazement this is a company that does things at the last minute and only when necessary. I’m amazed that they dont appear to be doing that this time, unless we are missing a large refurb in the spring (which I already speculated on) or the 70th is starting sooner then Memorial Day, they will have completed all their major refurbs (other then the castle and pirates queue) well ahead of the start date.I’m not sure your point here. I mean would you rather Disney didn’t make the Park look as pristine as possible for the 70th like they did for the 60th?
Also outside of TT, IASW and SM, almost the entire east side of the Park including almost all of FL and TL hasn’t been touched for any major refurb for the 70th. So there is a lot left they could do besides just E Tickets. And speaking of FL both Pinocchio and Toad never got the 60th treatment, again something that could still be done for the 70th.
Got it, thank you for explaining it further. You misunderstand my amazement this is a company that does things at the last minute and only when necessary. I don’t think it’s a bad thing, just highly unlikely, hence my speculation into what’s next.
How else would you describe it? And what did you think they were mining in that mountain next to Rainbow Ridge?A "haunted gold mine?" That's an odd way to describe it.
Well I mean the fact that we have an explosion set off randomly by a fuse that just seems to light on its own, would indicate its haunted in some way in my mind.I realize that there is some story of a curse on the mine. However, if I didn't know that and the written description was all I knew before my first ride, I would be left wondering what about it was haunted. I feel like previous descriptions simplified it as a runaway mine train and I think that is a more accurate summation.
The fuse it lit by a lantern that fell over and broke. I notice it every time I ride it. It's on the left side.Well I mean the fact that we have an explosion set off randomly by a fuse that just seems to light on its own, would indicate its haunted in some way in my mind.
