So our family just booked a trip to disneyland for March 15th through the 20th :D. This is our second trip to DLR as we went in the summer of 2011. The first time we were there Big Thunder Mountain was closed for a refurb, now as I am trying to make a touring plan for our trip, guess what ride I see as closed for refurbishment, Big Thunder Mountain . I can not believe we had this luck... :( O well, but what about restaurants in the parks, what is some suggestions on places to try? Last time we were there we ate at Storyteller's Cafe like four times and that's about it lol

Thanks!! I'm so excited about going back. Also, we are AP holders at Disney World, and are looking at upgrading to the Premier Annual Pass for both parks for at least one of us in the party to get the discounts and all. Do you think it would be worth it? Were staying off site so we couldn't get hotel discounts, but we would be doing alot of eating in the parks. We are going for 6 days so the price would be like $290 for the tickets but it would only cost like $360 total for us to upgrade one pass. Do you think it would be worth the discounts we get?

LOL, I just answered this same question in another thread! Yes, I definitely think it'll be worth it. You get a 20% discount off food and a 15% discount off merchandise. You also get Downtown Disney discounts, as well as discounts at the shopping center across the street from the resort. Disneyland offers events and special activities for their annual passholders. For example, they've been showing Disney movies to annual passholders only on Main Street. They also leave the park open for annual passholders sometimes. Usually they leave Fantasyland and Tomorrowland open. There might be some special activities going on when you're there and you could participate. AP events are a lot of fun, and apparently they don't them at WDW.
