I had a trip booked for December 8-12 at the contemporary resort. I called customer service today to see if any free dining offer rooms had opened up at any of the deluxe resorts. I was told that a room at AKL opened up so I switched my reservation. After getting off the phone I was running the numbers and something didn't add up. Apparently the person I spoke to misunderstood me and there was no deal available. I was given an AKL from with a dining plan that I would have to pay for. I called back and after about 20 minutes the rep said she sprinkled some pixie dust and even though the offer wasn't available they would give it to me anyway. I was amazed and extremely grateful. That is some terrific customer service and shows Disney still cares about their guests.

It was a simple mistake. I wouldn't have been upset if they told me that I had to pay for it. I think they went above and beyond, it was an $800 difference.
