Hi!

I was wondering which one people like better...I have never eaten at a Boardwalk restaurant and we will be bringing my in-laws there (ages 50, 53). Does anyone have anything to say about these and which they like better?

Spoodles is more expensive but it is so much better. In my mind you can go to a bar/brewpub at home, but not Spoodles. I ate at Big River once and was not impressed. Spoodles impresses me everytime. Their menu is not very extensive but everything I've had there is excellent. Be sure to try the four-cheese flatbread.

They're both fine. I think it depends on what you are in the mood for. We tend to go to Spoodles more mainly because they are on the DDE and Big River is not. However, Big River has some excellent beers, and the food is good. Spoodles has gone downhill a bit since they dumbed down the dinner menu - you're probably better off sticking with a selection of starters - and I especially miss their breakfast buffet, which was the best on property in its day.

We enjoyed breakfast at Spoodles, but my family of picky eaters didn't really like their dinner menu; we really enjoyed our meal at Big River, but it tends to get very crowded.

If you haven't already checked the menus do so, and see which one appeals to you all more.
