Big news for the Castle Stage show

I heard this straight from the Fairy Godmother's mouth that next week is the last week for Cinderella's Surprise Celebration. She was telling this to a management type when I overheard it. Now I don't know if when she said next week if she meant the last week in October or this week because it was on the weekend I heard this. So all of you who love this show grab your camera and head over to the MagicKingdom to get your video and pics of the show.

Edit: OK I just looked to see and from my understanding the show is still performing through next week. I will look more deeply when I have time.. :wave:
But I dont think it is going away because it has to deal with the magical gatherings and such.

I will have to make a few phone calls. I would be surprised if it did close, especially with MNSSHP being through the rest of the month. But who knows.

I find it odd that they would include music from the show on the official album if it were on its way out this soon.

Edit: Just realized that Fantasy in the Sky was on the last album.

Oh I hope if it ends this week they'll replace it quickly. My 4 y.o. didn't get to see it on our last visit and I've been promising her we'd go to "the Cinderella show."

Hmm I would think it would surely still be there until the night time show comes in to its place, but that would mean they would make a new daytime show I hope . :lookaroun

Maybe it was that casts memebers last week to perform in the show? And hopefully the show will continue on for everyone to see!

OK here's the deal. CSC will not be ending till Feb. 26th so you are safe if you are going between now and then. The show though will be down while the new Cinderellabration show is in running, but then CSC will return after the night time show is complete. Cinderellabration has rumors of starting in March before the Easter rush. Hope that helps out some..

Wow...I hope management tells that to the people who are Cast in the show. That would be a big surprise for them if one day they check their schedules and it's gone!

From what my friend said who is Cast in the show, CSC was still supposed to go on while Cinderabration was going on since that was a night show. That was a few months ago though. (Not trying to say that what you heard was incorrect, Atta). I would hate to see the show go...everyone loves it...(me especially!)

This is stuff I heard from people who work with the show, they might bring in a different show durning the day no one knows. The cast though I was told was told the same information I had given out so they do know.
