Big is Beautiful.

Before our first vacation to PORS we had read about the size of the resort on the " unofficial guide to WDW " and we were wondering what we've let our selves into to. But when we got there we were pleasantly surprised especially as the grounds are beautiful and strolling around was a pleasure.Yet I still read about visitors complaining about it's large layout.Iam curious [ as ever ] how important is the size of the hotel resort in your booking? Do you think a smaller resort layout plays an important decision on your choice? Or are you like me,big is beautiful.

How is this thread any different than asking people what their favorite resort is, and why?

I think OP's thread is different, and a perfectly valid topic. If you don't think so let it fall to the bottom instead of bumping it. guess you think it's more important for you to be an internet assho.....er toughguy than to actually contribute to a discussion.

OP, it makes a difference to me simply because I travel with small children and we utilize the bus system during our stay. We also like to take advantage of the resort pool in the middle of the day. So I like a smaller layout where the walk time to either the pool or bus is small. Our last 2 trips and our upcoming one in May we are staying at POP and we always pay for the preferred room simply due to the convenience of less walking distance.

I don't mind a large layout, I don't mind a 5 minute walk to a store or a pool, the scenery is always pleasant and the weather lovely, much better than strolling through a crowded street in England!

Plus we have no children which I know is a big deal for those with youngsters.

Well, considering the OP has started 165 threads since October, with a half-dozen of them (at least) concerning the resorts, it was a fair question to make sure he hadn't overlooked one of his own previous threads....

But you stay classy!

Sorry i'm not on here 24-7 tracking how many threads a user starts and the topics. I'm just so tired of people coming here for information and getting called out for asking questions that some of the "alpha-users" might not approve of.

I took your comment as an attack on the OP that they didn't deserve so I called you out on it.

You right, I was an a**hole in my reply I should've handled it with class. Just so tired of the bickering and complaining that goes on here.

Things get crazy round here at times :ROFLOL:

For me it usually doesnt come into it!

If we stay at a large resort, for instance, Old Key West, which is a stunning resort that is v relaxing to walk through, we request a room that is within 5minutes of the main building, easy :ROFLOL::wave:
