EPCOT Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

I’ve seen limited Main Street Vehicles operating at MK - which is good and better than nothing. But it’s actually difficult to ride them - CM’s don’t seem eager to want passengers. I was completely ignored by multiple CM’s at vehicles who continued to talk to co-workers when I was obviously standing by the vehicle. It’s very different in California. Maybe I just had really bad luck.

I don’t know if horse trolleys ever operate for guests at MK - only time I saw it out it was being used by the dapper dans for a show - there were so many docker clad managers surrounding it I couldn’t get a good photo.

Fortunately…. We still have Disneyland :)
About 2 weeks ago we were able to ride the double decker omnibus and one of the coach cars. The CMs welcomed us on board as soon they parked, so it's weird to hear about your experience.

They were also running well into the afternoon (think they stopped around 2pm) due to only 1 FoF parade at 3pm.

Yeah…. It was odd that I experienced it multiples times. The CM’s had to have been deliberately ignoring me.

maybe I’m just spoiled in California - over the years I’ve seen very little turnover in CM’s who drive the vehicles and they are some of the best.

I remember EPCOT having some pretty spectacular day shows on the lagoion...Surprise In The Skies, the afore mentioned Skylaidescope...it was for the summer as I remember.....That was when the double decker busses would travel around world showcase....you could jump on and off... All these little things made the visit to EPCOT seem so much more complete and full of things to do... now it is just food festivals, drinking around the world, a couple attractions and a flex space...lol
I mean it still has 11 rides, exhibits like Project tomorrow, advanced training lab, the imageworks, a walk through with journey of water, an aquarium. Then there are museums like American Heritage, Bijutsu-kan Gallery, Gallery of Arts and History, House of the Whispering Willows, Stave Church, Mexico Folk Art Gallery, Two circle vision films, four films, an AA show, and live entertainment like Mariachi cobre, Groovin Alps, Sergio, Voices of Liberty, Matsuriza, Atlas fusion, Command Performance, & Bodh'akton.

Whatever material they used is clearly expanding and contracting due to the florida sun & heat, those screws will do nothing & pop out, they'll have to keep adding new screws every other week at this rate.
Be best if they rip the lenses and recessed concrete channels out and refill with opalescent concrete. Keep.the design and use ambient light to achieve some level of lighting effect.

Ambient light could never create the effect they wanted...they could put gobo lighting on the light towers all focuswed onto the pavent to give a moving lighting effect, but it would look like disco lighting tacked onto the light towers.... At this point they should just tear the entire mess out and re-imagine it...with a fountain this time, and steer completely clear of Rust finishes.... Even the front Prism founain is less charming and looks a little muddy because of it....
