So I found this gem for $20 at an antique thrift store in Amish country & am trying to get as much information on it as I can. It's in amazing condition & I feel very lucky to have found it because according to the "interwebs" it's a very hard to find item. From what I've been able to gather so far it's from the 70's & was manufactured by a company named Treasure Craft.

I'm so pumped about this thing & I'd like to know if anyone knows an exact year this was sold & if it was sold at Disneyland or WDW or both. Anything anyone can tell me about this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Sidenote: When my girlfriend unwrapped it & looked at it she was completely clueless as to why I would purchase a ceramic fat drunk bear playing a guitar cookie jar. Priceless look on her face!

That's awesome!!! Great find!

Thanks! I was literally rushing out of this antique store glancing down aisles as I had to leave to catch the Indians game on Saturday & happened to see him sitting on a shelf. Obviously I knew exactly what it was & felt Disney (now) would charge WAY more than $20 for this thing so I felt I got my money out of it. Plus... c'mon... You can't leave Big Al all alone in an Amish country thrift store.
