Hard to believe that was one of the better ships in the industry. You cannot even compare it to what we have now.

I watched that show religiously. That and Fantasy Island. I truly believed I would meet my future husband Shawn Cassidy aboard The Love Boat (in Acupulco) and we would honeymoon on Fantasy Island. Weird seeing the boat in disrepair like that.

Sadly, I just read that the Pacific Princess, as she was being towed into the breakers, suddenly took on water and the severe starboard list, almost sinking........a sad end for the fine lady.
