Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Walk Ins?

I'm local and had an idea to do this for my daughter's 3rd birthday next month. Turns out, a month out isn't enough time. There is no availability at MK. I'm bummed. I've researched online that you can walk in (especially in the morning), but there's no guarantees of course. Has anyone had any luck with walk ins at the MK location? Or any tips?

Would you be willing to do the DTD location? I think you have a much better chance there. I've been at the castle location several times and I've only seen walk ups turned away. I'd also keep trying...you never know when something might open up.

I guess so, but it's less exciting there. Also, it's inconvenient to go there first only to be turned away. At least at MK you're already in the park. I'm just not sure it's worth my while at either location. I wonder how far out they're booked for.

True, I just hate the thought of seeing a child disappointed over it. It's that seeing a sad little face after they're told there are no openings that worries me with a walk up attempt. While I'm sure it varies by season, I've heard people have issues getting in as far as 4 months out. A lot of people book right at the 180+10 mark and the castle location is fairly small...i.e. I don't know if they can handle any more than 10 girls in an hour...so I'm guessing it books up quickly.

It's not the same experience, but how about the barber shop in MK - they'd glitter her up anyway, and you could dress her up yourself.
Just a thought.

Since I'm local, I think I'll wait to make it a special day for her. She's princess obsessed. Especially Belle! Worst case scenario, I'm now prepared for her 4th birthday and I'll book 6 months in advance! :)

If at 3 years old she's be excited, at 4 she'd be over the moon. Waiting wouldn't be the worst thing.

As an aside, we did the DTD location, got to do a princess parade around the grounds, and then bused and monorailed to the MK for Cinderella's Royal Table. I'd normally say that wasn't the way to do things, but the extra attention she got as she traveled to the MK was priceless. plus when you get on the bus, the recording informs riders they are riding with princesses. Wish I got a picture of that reaction!
