I think Illuminations fits well at epcot. They just need to find a way to make it more interesting at the times when the globe is floating around with no fireworks. There's a huge downtime there that people get very bored.

Yes, more epic. I have posted some ideas but I want to refine them a bit. Of course all ideas are welcome here.

I think Skydance was an acknowledgement they want something more epic but that was evidently canceled.

Illuminations needs a major upgrade or a replacement show IMO.

Good points.

I think Illuminations has a lot of strengths to it. The inferno barge/explosion, the various torch effects, and the illuminating countries are all great (and epic) elements of the show that could probably be creatively reused in a future show. The soundtrack is also outstanding, but would be more difficult to reuse, especially since it does have a lot of slower points which might bore some.

World of Color style fountains would be a great start.
