Better option for WDW Holiday trip?

I'm doing my first Disney trip during the holiday season. From what I've read the best bet is to go the week after Thanksgiving up until the week of Christmas. I've narrowed it down to two options, and was wondering if anyone felt strongly either way? Any help or insight would be appreciated.

My family will be doing the Christmas party, but the ticket prices are the same for the Tuesday and Thursday parties both weeks.

I'd lean toward Dec. 2 just to make sure the Thanksgiving weekend folks have left. On the other hand, I seem to recall Pop Warner Football Championship might be that first week in December. If that's still the case, I'd go Nov. 25

The second and third weeks in Dec. are actually better for crowds

No question that early December is is much less crowded than Thanksgiving.

There is no slow time anymore. Pick what works best for you and go.

I would pick the second week of Dec personally but out of the two options, I vote the Dec dates.
