OK. Over the last few months, I've now seen a few threads where incensed individuals make claims that the OP created a "clickbait" title. It's like 'well, forget whatever the OP has to say about the intended subject, let's b__ch and moan about HOW the poster created the thread'. And then take multiple posts to discuss THAT rather than the substance of the thread. All the while implying that the way in which the OP has created the thread somehow lessens the import of the subject relative to other threads.
It's amazing what happens when the 'rona gives everyone so much more free time for this (I really don't remember seeing this type of behavior before January).
I wasn't aware there was an editorial review board for thread titles. If it's common enough, shouldn't ALL threads be similarly reviewed to ensure that their titles are appropriate? And then castigate the OP in each thread? Shouldn't the admins post updated guidelines for what is and isn't acceptable for titles around facts, correctness, and appropriateness of language usage?
