We are planning a 4 day trip to Disney World for October 2014. Would it be better to come in on Thursday morning and leave Sunday? or come in on a Friday morning and leave on Monday night?

If flying, I would leave on a Monday because the airport is so much less crowded on a Monday as opposed to a Sunday.

We were in Disney in September this year. We found the parks VERY busy on the weekend and they were very quiet on Monday. Our next trip will be in November 2014 and our plan is to be there during the week and not the weekend. If you need to include the weekend in your trip, I would stay away from the MK on Saturday. So, looking at your choices, I would say, arrive on Thursday and leave Sunday. You can do the MK on Thursday and Friday. It has been my experience that the MK is busiest on the weekend. Have a Magical Trip!

Thursday is the better of the 5 days you have the choice of from my experience anyhow. Weekends during F&W are generally messy and add in MK closing early for the party doesn't help on those days. The weekdays for the most part are pretty pleasant if you could pull that off.
