I stole this from another forums site and thought it was a good topic..

"What do you consider to be the best and worst of Walt Disney World? Which is the best park? Which is the worst park? What are the best rides? What are the worst rides? What are the best theme lands? What are the worst themed lands? What are the best shows? What are the worst shows? Whats the best hotel? What is the worst hotel? Wheres the best place to eat? Whats the worst place to eat?"

Best park: Epcot, I love the rides and the history of the park and the fact that they're mostly dark rides and all the country pavilions makes it even better!

Worst park: Animal Kingdom, Keep in mind this is my opinion. I only like a few of the rides here. It is definately not fun when it's hot. And the only main reason to go is to see Dinosaur, Safaris, and Mount Everest. The zoo-style thing isn't all my thing and any of the rides here could've probably been built in an Adventureland expansion.

Best ride: Peoplemover, again.. opinion. I love it sooo much and I'm probably the only person who can spend hours on this and the fact that it never has a line is even better! I wish they could expand it but i'm happy enough it isn't gone like the one in Disneyland

Worst ride: Mission: Space, I hate this ride. I find it majorly boring. It's MY opinion. It's not my kind of a ride with it's uncomfortable seating and the thought of ppl that could've died in one of the seats i was sitting in doesn't sooth my mind very well. I'd like to have a new dark ride here.

Best themed land: I'm pretty sure it'll change when the new Fantasyland comes out. And I'd love to say world showcase but instead of scenery, i'm really into rides. My favorite themed land has got to be broken in two. Adventureland for daytime and Tomorrowland at night.

Worst themed land: I'm not going to say Dinoland because I love it no matter what ppl say. I hate to say this but I'm going to say Future World. It doesn't look too bad but what it looked like before was so much better than it is today. It seems to have lost it's course and needs to get back on track with the futuristic theme. The main problem would be the main central area where Innoventions is.

Best show: Not including Fantasmic!, definately Country Bear Jamboree! :) I always get that warm..fuzzy feeling when the bears come out and start singing with their humourus looks and what-not.

Worst show: Probably Beauty and the Beast. I love the show and it's great but I think it's run it's time. It's been at the park really long now and I know they won't get rid of it anytime soon since the movie hit the big screens but I'm believing a Hercules or Princess and the Frog would be a great replacement!

Best Hotel & Worst Hotel: Cant decide never stayed on-campus

Best place to eat: My all-time favorite would be Sci-fi dine in and the resteraunt outside the Mexico pavilion! Great food and great scenery :)

Worst place to eat: Pizza planet.

I'll throw my .02 in...

Best Park: Hands down Magic Kingdom. Elegantly themed, "heart" of WDW.

Worst Park: Animal Kingdom. Nothing pulls me here except for EE. Waste of space, waste of money.

Best Ride: This is a really close tie. It's got to go between ToT and POTC.

Worst Ride: Gran Fiesta, horrible overlay. Nothing will match the original.

Best Themed Land: Oooh. Liberty Square or World Showcase. No explanation needed.

Worst Themed Land: Tomorrowland. Cartoonish and reminds me of everything non-tomorrowish.

Best Show: Festival of The Lion King. Just an overall great show.

Best Hotel: Yacht Club :)

Worst Hotel: Can't say. Never had a bad experience.

Best Place to Eat: Yak and Yeti!

Worst Place: Didn't care for Pizza Planet.

Best Park - Epcot (I am a WS Fan)

Worst Park - DHS (I think the park needs more attractions maybe some new shows and some better restaurants)

Best Ride - Expedition Everest (I'm a Roller Coaster Fan)

Worst Ride - Stitch's Great Escape (I prefered Alien Encounter)

Best Themed Land - Asia (AK really knows how to stimulate all the senses

Worst Themed Land - Camp Minnie Mickey (Seriously whats the deal)

Best Show - Nemo oh and I also like Flights of Wonder

Worst Show - I am not a fan of Lights Motor Action

Best Hotel -Coronado Springs (Has deluxe amenities but at a fair price, not to mention just a beautiful Resort)

Worst Hotel - I do not care for the All Stars.

Best Place to Eat - Sanaa

Worst Place - ABC Commissary

Best Park: Magic Kingdom. Don't get me wrong, all other parks are great. I just can't say that any of them are the best, except for Magic Kingdom.

Worst Park: Animal Kingdom. I love EE, Dinosaur, and Bug, but nothing else really pulls me in to AK, besides the excellent theming.

Best Ride: I've got to say Tower of Terror. Along with it's excellent theming, it's also a great thrill!

Worst Ride: Tomorrowland Speedway. It's gotta go. It smells up the area and removing it would make some great space for either a small FL expansion (perhaps an Alice Area to go along with the Teacups and the Chesire Cafe), or a small Tomorrowland Expansion, although I'm not sure what they would add.

Best Themed Land: Liberty Square. Although it is small and not the most famous land, everything about it is just "right".

Worst Themed Land: Currently, Tomorrowland. It has too many un-wanted attractions (such as Stitch, Speedway, etc.). I love Tomorrowland, it's just in bad shape right now.

Best Show: Illuminations. Such an inspiring show, and very cool!

Best Hotel: Port Orleans: Riverside. I haven't gone to FQ yet, but Riverside is truly one of the best themed resorts I've been to. I actually feel like I am in Louisiana (even though it is just a few states over)

Worst Hotel: Haven't gone to a bad resort yet, and I hope not to.

Best Place to Eat: Casey's Corner

Worst Place: Casey's Corner is the only place I've eaten in parks.. LOL

Best park: Epcot, while I miss some of what we've lost (Horizons, World of Motion, Wonders of Life), I still enjoy most of what's left and World Showcase is a unique experience and the food and alcohol choices are awesome

Worst park: N/A: I really enjoy all of them

Best thrill ride: Everest: Love the theming and the ride

Best non-thrill ride: Spaceship Earth, even though I miss the old narration, I still enjoy the ride and its always our first ride on our first day

Worst ride: Stich's Great Escape, just horrible, wish they'd bring back Alien Encounter or at least bring in something new

Best themed land: Adventureland, so many hidden thematic elements (I'm pretty sure that this will end up being Fantasyland)

Worst themed land: Dinoland- the theme just does not make sense to me

Best show: Finding Nemo- absolutely love it!

Worst show: Lights! Motors! Action!

Best Hotel: My favorite is the Boardwalk, I love the Boardwalk at night and the convenience of walking to DHS and EPCOT

Worst Hotel: Anything offsite

Best place to eat: So many great options... California Grill, Les Cellier, and Sanaa are my top three

Worst place to eat: I would agree with Pizza Planet, not bad but not great either

Best Park: I'd say Epcot. I really love the atmosphere of the park.

Worst Park: Always will be Animal Kingdom to me.

Best Ride: TOT & Space Mountain

Worst Ride: The Seas with Nemo & Friends

Best Themed Land: Hmmmm,I'll say Frontierland. :)

Worst Themed Land: Dinoland.

Best Show: Fantasmic! & Carousel of Progress. Does Sonny Ecplise count too? :lookaroun

Best Hotel: French Quarter

Worst Hotel: All-Star Sports. The service wasn't that good.

Best Place to Eat: Prime Time and Cosmic Ray's!

Worst Place: Casey's. Had a bad experience there.

Best park: Magic Kingdom for many reasons including most visited!

Worst park: If I had to pick one, it would be Hollywood Studios, even though I like it! It needs so much more development and Im surprised people say Animal Kingdom when it has more rides. But both need growth.

Best ride: Splash Mountain. It has thrills, fun, and it is great. You go outside, and indoor dark ride and hills and splashes and characters and it tells a story!

Worst ride: worst, as in most boring is Figment...it just doesn't do anything...I'd rather ride Living with the land. I mean I still ride it, but I wish I could have seen the original.

Best themed land: This one is tough because they are all amazingly themed. But I think Tomorrowland or Frontierland are the best. But It is very hard to decide!

Worst themed land: Maybe Fantasyland? It feels like a circus...I mean I love Fantasyland and Can't wait to see how the new area plays out, but what would fantasy look like?

Best show: Fantasmic! Thinking of all the shows, World of Color would beat Fantasmic but WDW doesn't have it.

Worst show: Well since the stitch show is gone, Ill have to say the bird show at Animal Kingdom? They are all good.

Best Hotel & Worst Hotel: 1) Resorts 2) Campgrounds worst but they are nice! Best would have to be Grand Floridian!

Best place to eat: My favorite is Cinderella Castle!

Worst place to eat: There are so many places to eat and I haven't eaten at every single one!

I'm changing the word "best" to favorite, since that's really what everyone is describing here.

Favorite Park: I could go with either Magic Kingdom or Epcot, depending on my mood and what I'm looking for on a particular day. Right now, I'm going to go with Magic Kingdom because of the fact that you can go there and be completely transported.

Least Favorite Park: I'm going to say DHS. I LOVE a lot of their individual attractions, in fact I love most of them. However, the park as a whole is very jumbled and has no cohesive theme to it at all. For that reason, it's my least favorite, because thematically, they got lazy.

Favorite Attraction: My favorite has always been Splash Mountain, when all of the effects are working properly.

Least Favorite Attraction: Stitch's Great Escape. Just. Gag. Me. (And for the record, I like Stitch as a character)

Best Themed Land: Harambe or Asia. Joe Rohde's work is leaps and bounds above anyone else's on staff right now.

Worst Themed Land: Dino-Rama. I know the backstory behind this area quite well, and I still think it's a poorly conceived way to shoehorn in some cheap carnival rides and midway games.

Favorite Show: The Magic, The Memories, and You

Least Favorite Show: Fantasmic, especially given how many of its effects don't even work anymore. Plus, once you've seen the vastly superior Disneyland version, you realize how laughable the DHS one is.

Favorite Resort: The Boardwalk. Love the theme and the location.

Least Favorite Resort: The All-Stars. And it has nothing to do with the fact that they're value resorts- I happen to love Pop Century.

Favorite Place to Eat: I have many "must eat" locations, but my favorite restaurant on property is Jiko, followed closely by 'Ohana.

Least Favorite Place to Eat: Any of their pizza establishments other than Via Napoli.

Best park: Magic Kingdom for me. I feel like it has the most magical feel to it. I love the rides, the castle, and the lands.

Worst park: DHS. I'm not big on thrill rides. I've seen the shows that are there too many times.

Best ride: Splash Mountain or the Haunted Mansion

Worst ride: I'm not a Mission: Space fan - I get motion sickness too easily.

Best themed land: If the World Showcase counts as a land - that.

Worst themed land: I'm going to say Pixar Place, in that it's really just Toy Story Mania. I feel like they should have waited until there was more than one thing before they renamed a section of the park.

Best show: Wishes

Worst show: Lights, Motor, Action

Best Hotel & Worst Hotel: Boardwalk is my favorite hotel. I haven't stayed at one I didn't like, so I couldn't judge the worst.

Best place to eat: Kona Cafe

Worst place to eat: Pizza Planet

Best park:Magic Kingdom!

Worst park: Animal Kingdom. I keep trying to give it "just one more try" but I just can't get excited about this park. Most trips I just don't even go.

Best ride: Tie between Space Mountain and Tower of Terror.

Worst ride: Mission: Space. I got so dizzy and felt sick after riding this ride, it took me a couple hours to get myself together. I thought I following all the "rules" to not get motion sickness, but I guess I messed up somehow. I don't think I will give it another try.

Best themed land: Tomorrow Land! I love the "early 60's Sc-Fi" vision of the future, so this land has always held a special place in my heart.

Worst themed land: I don't dislike Future World, but if I had to pick a "worst" I guess this would be it. I think they could make this more interesting.

Best show: Wishes (not really a show, but I love it)

Worst show: I'm not much of a show person, so I usually pass on all of them.

Best Hotel & Worst Hotel: Next trip will be my first on-property stay, so I can't judge this one, but staying at the Contemporary would be my dream vacation.

Best place to eat:I love Cosmic Ray's counter service

Worst place to eat: Anyplace where I have to wait!! :zipit:

I stole this from another forums site and thought it was a good topic..

"What do you consider to be the best and worst of Walt Disney World? Which is the best park? Which is the worst park? What are the best rides? What are the worst rides? What are the best theme lands? What are the worst themed lands? What are the best shows? What are the worst shows? Whats the best hotel? What is the worst hotel? Wheres the best place to eat? Whats the worst place to eat?"

Great idea for a thread! I love it!

Best park: For me Magic Kingdom with EPCOT a close 2nd. MK is the 1st park we hit on arrival, the last park we hit on departure day. Gives us the instant "magic" we need to say "ok, vacation has started"

Worst park: "Worst" is such a tough word to use here.... However, if i had to stack the parks 1 to 4, with 1 being best, Animal Kingdom would be 4. We still visit, and I still enjoy going there. But to this day it's a 1/2 day park for us even during an 8 day trip. You knock out Everest and the Safari in the AM, see a show, do the Exploration trail and by the time it's afternoon and the hottest/most crowded time of the day, we're ready to escape to the pools.

Best ride: I'm just a kid at heart, POTC. Sure there's more up-to-date attractions, sure there's more thrilling attractions, but sitting in that boat and shoving off, even smelling that POTC smell (you all know the smell i'm talking about).. just love it. Splash gets the close 2nd

Worst ride: I went on Stitch, came out, and said to my wife how much i had wished we had that half hour of our vacation back.

Best themed land: World Showcase and Main Street USA tied for me. Each for it's own unique qualities. Even at home I'm playing MSUSA music on my phone just to be there in my head.

Worst themed land: Adventureland. Even with my favorite aforementioned attraction here... I don't quite get it.

Best show: Festival of the Lion King gives me goose bumps each time i watch. Even though it's in my "worst" park, this show is can't miss. I used to answer F! to this question, so F! is a close 2nd.

Worst show: N/A for me. Any show I've seen at Disney has been top notch.

Best Hotel & Worst Hotel: N/A again. I've only stayed at All Star Sports and Music.

Best place to eat: Basing on food alone and not the experience, 1900 Park Fare was outstanding even for a buffett. Experience, CRT because I have a young daughter, or Crystal Palace.

Worst place to eat: Tried the Maya Grill once. It was ok, nothing special, but out of all of the places we've dined at, this one came in last. Very close honorable mention to Wolfang's (not Express) on the West side. Food was good, but service was the worst I've ever experienced on property

Best park: My personal favorite is DHS. Love the themes, and all the different rides. Plus as you’ll see later in this it has my favorite restaurant. We always end up here at the end our random day trips.

Least Visited park: I don’t want it call it worst park, least visited sounds appropriate. Animal Kingdom. For some reason we just never go here. I’ve had annual passes now for 2-3 years and maybe have been 2 times. I think it’s just cause in the summer its miserable.

Best ride: I’m going to have to go with Buzz Lightyear this week. Me and wife have serious competitions there. My longtime favorite however, is going to have to be Space Mountain or Rocking Rollercoaster. I’m just a rollercoaster fan at heart.

Worst ride: Buzz Lightyear because my wife beat me this time.

Best themed land: World Showcase

Worst themed land: Adventure land

Best show: The New Years eve fireworks show was amazing. 360 degrees of fireworks just blew me away.

Worst show: Fantasmic, I know I know, I just don’t like it for some reason.

My favorite hotel to look around in: Never stayed in one, but I do visit most of all of them to look around so Contemporary, I love the shops in there.
The Worst Hotel to look around in: The name is escaping me at this moment.

Best place to sit and eat: This will be my only one with two answers. Number one is Brown Derby, great food. Number two is the sci-fi diner, I just love the whole atmosphere in there!

Best Quick service: Definitely Morocco in Epcot. It is SOOO delicious.

Worst place to eat: No answer here. Never really been disappointed anywhere, all the food is pretty consistent.

Best park: I would give the nod to MK for shear size and theming, but Epcot/DHS are right on its heels for me on a personal level.

Worst park: While I would call it bad, AK is the 4th park of choice for me. It has real nuances which I plan on really exploring next summer, since we will be there for 10 days and will have enough time to get everything in. It is certainly more than a 1/2 day park and a photographer, I will find plenty to shoot.

Best ride: Phew, really tough choice. Going with SM, with ToT close behind and an honorable mention to Carousel of Progress (I am a sucker for Walt and the historical tie to the attraction).

Worst ride: This is also hard, since I really do enjoy all of the attractions... but what the hell was the Prince Caspian crap? Glorified trailer...was BRUTAL!

Best themed land: Tomorrowland... people mover, audio loops... enough said

Worst themed land: certainly not applicable... they are all great!

Best show: Nemo... wow, pretty awesome how it is a live performance and a great cast of voices.

Worst show: Disney Jr... does that event count? I really skip a lot of the Disney channel stuff at DHS. I am not a young one or a 14 year old girl.

Best Hotel & Worst Hotel: only been on site once and never going off again! Beach Club... amazing accommodations, amazing location. Negative... price, but it's vacation and the one thing I spoil myself with.

Best place to eat: San Angel Mexico... I know this places gets a lot of slack but I am uber critical of Disney food and at least the meal I had was very flavorful, plated well, and delicious.

Worst place to eat: Brown Derby... average food at very high prices. I paid roughly 45 dollars for pot roast.

Here we go....

Best Park: Magic Kingdom. I have an almost 4 year old daughter and by far there are more things to do here with her than any other park.

Worst Park: Epcot. Don't get me wrong, I love the World Showcase but to me this park shows it's age more than the other 3. TDO needs to sink some serious money into Future World.

Best Ride: I'd have to flip a coin between Splash Mountain and Toy Story Mania.

Worst Ride: Carousel of Progress. I guess it's okay if you need a break to get off your feet or to get out of the sun but it would be the perfect place to put an insomniac. They'd be asleep in no time.

Best Themed Land: If the World Showcase is considered a "land" I would choose that. I love going there at night with the family and walking around.

Worst Themed Land: DinoLand USA. To me it seems out of place and not very popular.

Best Show: Finding Nemo - The Musical. This could seriously be a Broadway show if you could somehow lengthen it. It's amazing!

Best Hotel: Port Orleans Riverside. I've only stayed here and Pop Century so I can't really compare to other places but it's relaxing, quiet, and the landscaping is beautiful

Worst Hotel: Pop Century. Again, not that I hated it but you could literally hear the person in the next room sneezing and peeing.

Best Place to Eat: Kona Cafe

Worst Place: Riverside Mill (POR) This place needs a refurb because it's pretty dirty. I know it serves a lot of people but when you compare it to the dining area at Pop Century it's like night and day. One is clean, the other is not. Plus nearly everything is fried or unhealthy.

Favorite Park: Magic Kingdom. Just a great big yay. At one time there were others I thought were better, but MK is now the most solid magical place for me.

Least Favorite Park: Epcot. Once upon a time it would have been on my favorites list

Favorite Attraction: Splash Mountain!!!

Least Favorite Attraction:Journey into Imagination with Figment. Seriously? Even if I had never been on the original, this is a seriously boring ride.

Best Themed Land: Asia in AK is pretty hard to beat.

Worst Themed Land: Future World. Huh? Where?

Favorite Show: Finding Nemo the Musical! In the biiiig bluuuue woooorld....

Least Favorite Show:Stich's Great Escape...I know most people qualify it as attraction...but to me it's a show. And not a very entertaining one.

Favorite Resort: Boardwalk is amazing. There's a little game room/lounge off the lobby where I love to sit and drink coffee.

Least Favorite Resort:All Star Sports.

Favorite Place to Eat: silly, I know...but Sunshine Seasons... the Land's food court is still the only place I have to eat on every trip.

Least Favorite Place to Eat: ABC commissary. I fall for it every single time. And regret it every single time.

Oh gosh this is so hard to decide.. Ill give it a go anyway... Cant say this is my final answer
Best Park: Have to say Magic Kingdom, although I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Epcot the last few trips

Worst: Animal Kingdom.. not that I dont like it, but its hard to spend a full day without wanting more rides. I will admit I haven't taken enough time to really take in the park. I always go but I'm always itching to get to another park!

Best Ride: Tower of Terror. Perfect medium of theme and Thrill.

Worst Ride: Speedway or Triceratops spin. To me, its just a knock of dumbo, although I still love the Magic Carpets!

Best Themed Land: New Fantasyland is promising, but I love the World Showcase!

Worst Themed Land: DinoLand USA

Best Show: Illuminations no doubt. Watching from Rose and Crown is just the greatest!

Worst Show: Lights! Motors! Action!

Best Resort: Beach Club!! Cant beat staying so close to Epcot, plus I love the resort in itself

Worst Hotel: Havent dealt with that yet

Best Place to Eat:hmm nothing beats eating in the World Showcase, but I have always had a strange love for the Garden Grill. Quick Service: I love Cosmic Rays although I know Ive had better

Worst Place to eat: I will follow the Crowd and agree Pizza Planet. Nothing against it.

I can't believe no one has said Narnia as worst show.

Best park: Magic Kingdom, the almighty.

Worst park: For now, Animal Kingdom. There's more to do at all the other parks.

Best ride: Space Mountain. Definition of a themed ride.

Worst ride: Stitch's Great Escape, obvious reasons.

Best themed land: Tomorrowland, or all of Animal Kingdom.

Worst themed land: Dinoland, of course.

Best show: Wishes :lookaroun

Worst show: Narnia. Narnia. Narnia.

Best Hotel: Wilderness Lodge

Worst Hotel: From the ones I stayed at POFQ

Best place to eat: 'Ohana

Rowdy, Narnia is closed... Maybe that is why no one listed it... Otherwise, I'd agree with ya...

Favorite Park: Animal Kingdom. Take away Disco Yeti and AK has, in my opinion, the best theme of the 4 parks... although I must have to admit this, Epcot and MK are a close 2nd... I can actually spend the entire day there taking in the scenic elements of the park...

Least Favorite Park: DHS... poor design... park feels like a rush job... While ther may be more to do there than AK, ride-wise, I can really spend a half day there and do everything I want to do there...

Favorite Attraction: This is a hard one because I love several attractions.. But I have to say Splash Mountain, when everything works properly... I love the music to the ride.. And the final show scene, when everything works, is magnificent..

Least Favorite Attraction: Stitch's Great Escape... Tomorrowland Speedway is a very close 2nd... and Mission Space is not too far off either...

Best Themed Land: Harambe.. Makes me feel like I am in Africa... The attention to detail... WOW

Worst Themed Land: Tomorrowland... seems to have lost its appeal and meaning... What is it, a world of tomorrow or a world of sci-fi and fantasy???

Favorite Show: Finding Nemo: The Musical... A must see... The music is awesome... Everythign about this show is pure awesomeness...

Least Favorite Show: Lights! Motors! Action!.... saw it once and that was enough...

Favorite Resort: OK, I have to say the BoardWalk... I haven't stayed there in years, but still... the BoardWalk just does it for me.. I love the Tree House Villas at Saratoga, but the rest of the resort just lacks something in my opinion...

Least Favorite Resort: Any of the All Star resorts... Stayed at All Star Music once... once.

Favorite Place to Eat: Kona is must for breakfast every trip... Gotta have my Tonga Toast... Sunshine Seasons for lunch in Epcot... I have many favorite places to eat... Add Sanaa and Boma to the list too...

Least Favorite Place to Eat: ABC Commissary... I felt the food was terrible, blah....

Best Park - I think I have to go with DHS. I can nerd out the most there. Star Wars, Muppets, classic Hollywood, ect. All things I'm very into.

Worst Park - AK. I love the animals, and the Nemo musical but the trek from attraction to attraction wears me out so quickly and they're nothing really special once you get there.

Best Ride - Mickey's Phillharmagic. I cry every single time. Nothing better than all my favorite movies/songs in 3D.

Worst Ride - Stitch or Mission Space. Went on them both once and never again.

Best Themed Land - I've literally spent an entire day just hanging out in the UK pavilion. I've had a love for England for as long as I can remember, and that's the closest I've gotten to it.

Worst Themed Land - I'll have to say The Land. That building is such a mess.

Best Show - Nemo musical.

Worst Show - Lights Motor Action was boring after the 3rd time seeing it.

Best Hotel -I've only stayed at Old Key West - but I have a feeling next months trip to Bay Lake Tower will top it!

Best Place to Eat - Love Rose & Crown, even if it's just for the potato and leek soup. I also enjoyed the Captain's Grille at the Yacht club.

Worst Place to Eat - Didn't like The Wave much. The Electric Umbrella has gotten pretty bad, I used to enjoy the topping bar they had. Oh and didn't like anything at the Prime Time 50's cafe!
