Has anyone stayed here? I can get a really good rate here for 2 queen size beds (as opposed to double beds which most other places with the low prices are showing me). Any thoughts about quality and distance? Thanks.

I've stayed here before. Loved it. It had everything I needed, which was a bed and a bathroom, not to mention free continental breakfast. It's directly across the street from Disneyland, with good quality. I'd stay there again.

No, no, you are talking about Best Bestern Plus Park Place which is right across the street. This is Pavillions which,I believe, is about a half mile from the entrance and does not include breakfast. But thanks for responding.

Oh, you're right! I missed that, sorry about that.

I would definitely recommend Plus, though.

I've stayed at the two Best Westerns across from Disneyland without any troubles (Park Place Inn and Anaheim Inn) I've thought about the Pavillions, but I didn't need the extra space, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay there after the experiences with the others. The rooms were a bit old, but that wasn't a big deal to me.

There's also Best Western Stovall's, which is on the corner of Disneyland Way (West St.) and Katella, I believe. It's about a 7-10 minute walk to Downtown Disney from the hotel, by going up Disneyland Way to the DGC Hotel, then cutting through the hotel to DD. Stovall's usually runs about $100 night. We used to stay there every time we went up, but decided that the walk gets us down after a full day in the parks. This past time we stayed at Candy Cane Inn, but the walk out to Pad 13 of the Bus Queue was a long walk, too.

You should check out Stovall's on the other side of the park. We just got back from from our first trip last week, and had a great time! We decided to stay here at Stovall's after much research. The price was one of the lowest around and the hotel was clean, safe and in a great location.

The hotel charges a $10 parking fee, but the parking lot is gated, so only hotel guests can stay there, and when you consider Disney charges $16, it's a good deal.

The breakfast was another great part of this hotel. It had the regular pastries, fruit, cereal, and drinks, but it also had hot pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon one day, sausage the other day. Th

Distance wise it is Directly across the street from the Disneyland entrance driveway, and about a 10-15 minute walk from the Parks and Downtown Disney. There is no need to drive across the street, or take a bus to the park. Save some money, and get a warm up walk there!

Jill we just booked this same place. I hope it is good reviews seem to think so. A little more of a walk but after WDW it sounds doable!

I haven't stayed at the one you mentioned but have stayed at the Best Western Stovall's and the Best Western Anaheim Inn. Both were the same in quality of room. The pool area of Stovall's is better. But the walk from the Anaheim Inn is much shorter. I would pick the Anaheim Inn over Stovall's as long as the price difference wasn't that great, which it wasn't last time I was there. I am a big fan of staying as close as possible.

When you go this way, does it bring you to the front entrance? I want to put myself in the best position to queue for a FP to the Raceway on the day we go to DCA.

Cutting through the Grand Californian can bring you out in DTD and from there to the main plaza and entrance of both parks.

Thanks for answering that question for me. It's a short walk and yes, it does bring you into Downtown Disney, past the tram stop, through security lines, and into the compound where the two gates are.
