Best Western on Hotel Blvd.

Stayed there last night for a concert at the House of Blues. Ok hotel for being near Downtown Disney, BUT never park in the Valet area. We got back to the room at 1:15ish in the morning. There was no regular parking around so I parked in the valet area and told the guy at the front desk and he said that was fine b/c the hotel was totally full. So this morning we get in the car to leave and the valet guy comes over wanting 10 bucks for parking there. I told him what the front desk said and he didn't care. So I have sent an email to the hotel and Best Western corpt.

Just a heads up if you ever stay there.

I've had bad experiences here as with the Wyndham...I usually only spend one night at most of them if I need to when driving down and I feel the Hilton has been the best as far as parking availability (there always seems to be at least a few spots open no matter the time of day) and quality for your $$$...

I like the Hilton a lot there. Except now they have gone to a $22 a day resort fee and $12 a day parking. I can park my own car and the only thing I use the resort for is to sleep and shower.

I mean...if it's not a Disney Resort the parking sucks...I dunno, $12 seems reasonable for a day to be almost guaranteed parking...then again I come from a world where I've seen $12/hr.+ to park in Manhattan...maybe it's really those damn beds they have, most comfy I've ever slept in.
