Best Western Lakeside?

I stayed there in 2007 for two nights.

It is a 2 story, exterior corridor motel not very far from Animal Kingdom.

The rooms are of good size, and include a dorm room type fridge. Roll aways are available so that rooms could sleep 5, but it is cramped when you do that.

I liked the main pool, but I only went in it in the morning when it was very empty. The free mini golf exist, but it did not look well maintained. On site food has good variety, and the breakfast buffet was good. Didn't try the on site Pizza Hut or grab and go, but looked around and as
I said, they did have options.

Also in walking distance is a Wendy's (service questionable), and a drug store (Walgreens or CVS). Many other establishments are nearby, including Subway and Chic-Fil-A, and also a Publix grocer is not far away at all.

I consider the price I paid, about $75 after taxes and such per night, to make this a good value pick. It's a pretty good deal. Is it super nice? No. Is it bare bones? No. It's strengths are location, price, and getting 5 in a room. I don't know that I would stay there for more than a day or two though, because you can usually get a Disney Value for 4 for about the same price. I used it as a place to stay when I arrived very late at night, and didn't want to check in to Disney unitl a Sunday. It filled the gap nicely.

I did not think it was horrible but my wife considered the room filthy. It does have a decent location. But it is pretty no frills. A Disney Value resort would be a better deal.
