Hi guys,
Leaving in two weeks and I can't wait! When we booked the reviews for the Best Western Lakeside were very positive. Now I've looked again and there are a lot of negative ones as well. I was wondering if some of you have stayed their and could put my mind at ease!

I stayed there few years ago. It was used basically as a place to rest my head each night and I did not look at the facilities besides my room. The room, as I remember, was nice with two beds and a tv. It was like a normal Best Western, or Value resort. The rooms were clean and I was not scared for my life. I do not recall if they had a restaurant on property, however there are a few just across the street from the Hotel. I hope that helps and have a great time.

We stayed there for one night in 2005. It is a standard Best Western. Nothing special but nothing bad. I do not recall the size of the safe. I recall the hotel having a food court & a putt putt course. No one was using either.

I satyed there for 1 night this past June 2010 when we arrived in Florida a day ahead of schedule. I got the room through priceline for $39!!. It was clean and comfortable. I didn't fear for my life. I do know there is a Wendy's at the front of the property. I don't remember anything about the safe. I hope this helps.

It is a place to sleep... I stayed off in May '10 @ A Baymont Inns (Celebration) and I literally never stayed in the room or around the grounds. I woke up, had my free breakfast (just bagels and simple stuff) and went off the parks all day. I wouldn't get home until 1130-12 and went straight to bed. Unless you're doing half days at the parks and planning on lounging around pools then who cares what the room is like.

this paticular hotel...but we were once considering the BW -Lake
Buena Vista....and well, I think the wife just refuses to stay at ANY
Best Western...seems her family has had alot of bad experiences
with them....also read alot of negitive things too.Anyways..

We stayed at the Best Western on 192... I think it was S. Irlo Bronson, and AKA "Lakeside" It was not bad at all. We were a little apprehensive to do WDW offsite, but it was only a last minute weekend getaway and the price was right! Wife was pleasantly surprised to get a clean room for such a great price. We usually stay Onsite at Moderate or Deluxe resorts, but I would not hesitate to stay here again (in a pinch) for a day or two.
