Best WDW story I have heard

On one trip to WDW we were on the monorail and two security guys were in the car with us. One was telling the other about several firings that afternoon in Epcot. Apparently it was the last day for several interns so they decided to do something unusual. They directed all red cars to one lot. The havoc it played in the afternoon apparently was hysterical even to those who needed to keep guests happy. Just imagine most cars at WDW are rentals and all red ones in one area.

BTW these guys were being very quiet about it but I was being very nosey about their conversation.
So watch were you are made to park on your next trip to WDW

Great gag. Thinking my way out of this problem.... I'd hit the alarm button and be directed to the one car that is making all the noise and has the flashing headlights.;) I never remember the license plate number of the car I rent.

Off topic, but, I wonder about that. Look out in the parking lot and 98% of the cars are black or white or a variety of shades of B&W. You will see a few reds and a couple of blues, almost no greens or yellows. Do we no longer want to use the color cones in our eyes? We have become so drab. Of course I grew up in the 50's when cars were two or three tone of all the colors imaginable. If you looked out in a parking lot then it was like a rainbow. OK, back on topic everyone!:D

i wonder if you would ever run into a bizarre fact in that set up. the car companies ( pre computer chip in each key) only had to make so many keys. I will never NEVER forget the time me and my mother left Riverview medical center in red bank NJ (from which you can see the navaink river and Bon Jovis house far down across on the other side ) we left seeing my dying aunt, we got into the old 84 Buick my grandfather had and drive home. on the way home however I then noticed there was a stuffed animal in the car, then a second later my mother realized there was a cassette player... which my grandfather doesn't own. needless to say in short we basicly stole someone's car but returned to the hospital and swapped cars before they noticed. they don't really warn you that for awhile cars only had to have so many different keys before they duplicated.

I did that once at a rest area. Luckily, I smelled the cigarette smoke and started to wonder why my car stank so bad, then why my ashtray that I had likely never opened was full and then why this weird old guy was banging on my window yelling stop! LOL. He had gotten in mine before I got in his and was looking for his smokes which is why he hadn't driven off.

That would work today but this happened back in the 90's when few had the alarm.

True when ever I see a 60's car on the road the accent colors are amazing especially on some of the Chevys like the Malibu or Vette

call it drab but I think many things in life don't need crazy color, prime example, snooki. your tell me what's better about that shade of orange than human colors!

in a serious note though it's the united states, cars need insurance and car insurance is expensive, having bright cars will as a fact tend to leave you with paying more for insurance than subtle colors. and to be honest now I pity people with those bright yellow sport cars, and how desperate they are to be noticed. there's a guy in the northeast who has one of the biggest collection of exotic cars (the name looks dirty so I won't even write it) and most are hideous yellow and purple colors like one of his Royce's and a yellow bentley I've seen him use a few times
