Best way in?

In April we (my wife and I) will be making our first trip to DL!!!!!

We will be staying at the Sheraton Anaheim which seems to be just North of W Ball Road on S Disneyland Drive. I've got a copy of the Unoffical Guide which implies that the the walk between DL and the hotel is not walkable. I'm more than happy to have a 30min walk each way (as long as it's safe) and I think it's possible but I'm not really sure where I need to walk to (i.e. where is the entrance, can we walk to one of the hotels? etc).

I also wondered if we could just walk to the parking lot (which is pretty close to the hotel) and jump on one of the trams used to transport people around?

I'm sure I'll have lots more questions soon!

I believe that you could walk over to the Mickey & Friends parking structure and catch one of the trams. But, doesn't the Sheraton offer any shuttle service? :veryconfu

I made a sort of map from the Sheraton to the Mickey and Friends structure here

It shows the location of the Sheraton and the Tram Area.

I also just checked the Sheraton website and they do in fact have a complimentary shuttle to the parks.

I had totally forgotten abut the comp shuttles. :hammer: Still, it's good to know what the options are incase we miss the shuttles or if we want to get there extra early.
