We are planning a trip Jan 2012, want to stay in a villa and can't decide which one. We have a res at Villas at Wilderness Lodge but now worried about the long boat ride. Others we know have said it's their least fav but they don't have kids. Have also thought about bay lake or boardwalk. If you could only visit one ever which would it be?

If you have a 4 and 10 year old, you will be spending most of your time in the Magic Kingdom. Bay Lake Tower is within walking distance to MK. Please you can take the Monorail to Epcot.

LONG BOAT RIDE? Where did you hear that? It's 10mns tops. My 7 year old still talks about WL and he was 3 when we stayed there. We've been back to go to restaurants, but he remembers the "log hotel" had the best pool

I'm partial towards the Boardwalk or Beach Club. Pools are great and night time on the Boardwalk is cool, entertainers and ice cream=:sohappy:

Actually Wilderness Lodge Villas are my favorite and I don't think the boat ride is long at all. I quite enjoy it. Also, we love all the activities at both Wilderness Lodge & Ft. Wilderness (great for kids).

Go with Beachclub over Boardwalk. The night life at beach club is much more friendly with movies/games. Boardwalk is full of drunks at night stumbling on the street performers.

I have yet to see any stumbling drunks @ the Boardwalk. I guess maybe late after Jellyrolls and espn close there may be. Your right about BC, def very kid friendly, movies on the beach are a nice touch.
