Best Towncar Service?

Can anyone give me an idea as to what in their opinion is the best towncar service to use going from the Orlando airport to the Dolphin resort? Thanks

We booked Quicksilver who is recommended by this sight.

My assumption was that they have more incentive to provide quality service or else they risk a higher chance of bad publicity on these forums.

We've used Florida Towncar. I know they aren't a sponser on the board, but I started with them before I knew about the boards. Round-trip for the 4 of us is $85 to the Caribbean Beach. To go to the Wilderness Lodge, $95. Some fee that WDW charges for the resort of the Magic Kingdom area.

I've never had any trouble with them. They were great to my kids and everything is set up so you don't have to call the night before the end of your stay.

for years i used to use mears, which i will NEVER do again... i know they're now a towncar service, just had to mention that

for my last trip i used florida towncar, and i've definately got to recomend them. after checking in (a good 20 minutes after being dropped off) i realized i had left my cell phone in the back of the car. i called our driver (he had given us his business card) and he headed right back to the hotel to return my phone... i could only imagine what would have happend if i used mears...

so, florida towncar it is for us now everytime

I used Tiffany once & they were fine.

The car was clean & they picked me up within five minutes of the scheduled times. Not a big deal for me, but there was a subtle pressure to make it quick at the grocery stop & the driver talked non-stop. The driver is the make-or-break part of these towncar services. You never know what you'll get.

Price-wise, all of the towncar services seem to be in about the same price range, give or take $5-$10.

When we stayed at the Dolphin in 2000 we arranged to have a pickup through the hotel. They surprised us and showed up in a limo..they also brought us back to the airport in a limo even though we only requested a town car. I would check w/ the hotel.

We have also used Happy Limo and have always had exceptional service with them. I guess we have been lucky because our last trip they also upgraded us to an SUV limo :wave:
