Best Touring Plan for Magic Kingdom First Visit?

Hello once again Disney friends!

What do you think is the best way to tour the Magic Kingdom? My girlfriend and I will be at the most magical place on Earth from 1/29-2/3. We plan on going to Magic Kingdom on Tuesday 1/30, and it will be her first time ever to the most magical place on Earth! The last time I have been was in 2004, so many things have changed. I really want to make her first visit to the Magic Kingdom very special.

We got lucky and got fastpasses for Seven Dwarves early "ish" (1040-1140) and Peter Pan (1230-130). I used to consider myself a Disney park touring expert, but since it has been so long since I have been (paper fastpasses!), I don't know how to tour efficiently anymore.....

We will be there for rope drop, and my plan is to go to Adventureland while the majority of people head towards Seven Dwarves and Tomorrowland. Is this a good plan? I think it will be cool for my girlfriend to experience a classic rides like Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean with little to no wait times. Then, we work our way clockwise possibly riding Haunted Mansion twice before our Seven Dwarves fastpass and other Fantasyland attractions.

We have another morning planned for Magic Kingdom and will start at Tomorrowland that day. But for a first visit, does the Adventureland "classic" rides work first?

Thank you for taking the time to read and any help/advice is greatly appreciated! Have a great day!!!

I think that’s a good plan. I’d maybe start in Fantasyland. I feel like those rides (Peter Pan Dumbo and Pooh) tend to have pretty significant waits earlier in the day. I’m not sure your plan would be an issue though. Have you tried Touring Plans? That can help maximize your time.

My last trip (May 2017), we did our FPs around the same time. We rope dropped and did Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder, Splash, Jungle Cruise, and Pirates in about two hours (give or take). I do think that the Fantasyland rides (peter pan) will gain longer wait times quicker than Frontierland/Adventureland, so maybe do PP first, then go and do the FL/AL rides.

Have fun!!

Getting 7DMT and PP FP+ helps a lot. Those get crazy long lines fast. We hit Splash, BTMRR and then back to PoTC and JC. Followed by HM then over to Space Mtn and Buzz. Then fill in the assorted others as the day goes on. Try targeting the most popular things first, holding back on the attractions you arent as crazy about that you wont miss if you cant get to them. Some attractions are less popular and their lines never increase that badly.
