Hmmmm,

The celebration begnis on 05/05/05 so after that point is a must, the later the better so all the rides will be on line.

I can't argue with Lady - the 1st week of December is extremely hard to beat.

Unless someone can think of something I can't, the rest of the year (other then holiday time) is pretty much the same. There are no special 'festivals' out here. Your main concern would be crowds - and that means summer and holidays. (Use the AP Block Out guides as an indicator of busy times, then can be downloaded from the DL website.)

I think I will be able to go to Disneyland after Christmas but before New Years. Does anyone know how the crowds are and how late it is usually open to. Thanks.

The parks are absolutely PACKED the week between Christmas and New Years, but the Magic Kingdom is generally open 8 am to midnight and DCA 10 am to 10 pm.

You can actually get a lot done in the early morning, from 8 to 10, before the big crowds show up, and after the fireworks at 9:30 (a lot of people leave and the 10:30 Fantasmic! eats even more people up). I would ride the E-Rides at these times and everything else during the day. Of course, at DCA, you can actually get on some of the big rides during the day, too. Utilize Fastpass. Even with the crowds, this is an awesome time of year to go to Disneyland--it's absolutely stunning for Christmas, and riding the E-Rides at night rocks, anyway :) I love the Magic Kingdom at night! (Paradise Pier, too)

I like going the 1st or 2nd week of May every time we walk on practically every ride.

I go every Thanksgiving and it's not as bad as other Holidays.

On my last visit on Memorial Day with the combo of FPs the longest wait for a ride was between 30 and 60 mins.

The best time in Dec. to go is the 1st week.

Feb. is very slow too.
