Best Time For Cape May Cafe?

What time would you suggest as a breakfast ADR for Cape May Cafe? We are staying in Pop, relying on Disney transportation only, so it has to be during park hours. We will most likely take the bus to Epcot, and then walk to the Beach Club (unless someone has a more efficient idea). I was thinking like 10:30 so we can do a few things first while the crowds are low (Soarin' etc) and then have more of a late breakfast/brunch. This would be a weekday in late September if that makes a difference at all :)

If you want to do a late breakfast, 10:30am sounds like a good idea.

If you want to do it before the park opens, or without going to Epcot first you could always catch a cab from Pop Century to Beach Club. According to Taxi Fare Finder, the rate would be around $13.45 (including a 10% tip).

Doing it before Epcot opens would be ideal but, our girls will be 5 and 1 and we are not bringing car seats with us. So unfortunately taking a cab (or Uber) is out :( So just using Disney transportation, I don't think we can get there for say, 8am because we wouldn't be able to get into Epcot.

There is a breakfast bus that runs prior to park openings. Tell the concierge at Pop the night before your reservation that you have a (time of ADR) breakfast at Cape May.

Oh yes, I realize buses start running much earlier than park opening. However, where would we take the bus to? If we take it to Epcot, Epcot will be closed so we can't walk through to make to Cape May. I suppose we could take a bus to a park, then hop another bus to The Beach Club but I feel like that would be way too time consuming :)

This is a special ("breakfast") bus used to take guests directly to the location of their ADR. So if you inform the concierge at Pop the day prior, you will be able to take a bus (or van) directly to Beach Club.

As @Tuvalu noted, the Disney buses will accommodate resort to resort travel for early morning meals such as a breakfast ADR at Cape May. We've had some cases where we've had to inform the concierge and others where the concierge just told us to head out and tell the first bus driver we saw.

We've done it a few times (or at least discussed it with resort CMs). The first time we did this, we were staying at WL and the resort concierge wasn't overly helpful, but we flagged down the first park bus we saw (shortly after 7am) and he took us to the GF for our breakfast at 1900 PF before heading back on his assigned route to AK. I know we also did this once when we stayed at YC, but for the life of me, I can't remember where we were heading for breakfast, but I'm thinking it was either 'Ohana or Chef Mickey's. AKL's concierge was the best about it...knew what time the first bus would arrive (they are a 6:45a resort vs a 6:30a for first bus) and gave us bus vs. cab advice since we were trying to make a 7am ADR at Chef Mickey's.

I have had very early breakfast ADR's at Poly and GF. I usually take a cab, but the times I have taken a bus, we were the only ones on and the driver asked where we were headed since it was so early. They dropped us off right at the Poly, so it was super convenient. For breakfast, we prefer an earlier ADR before the parks open.

Thanks everyone, I had no idea you could take a bus to early morning ADRs. I think we are going to do a 7:45 then. I hope it all works out!
