Best time for BOG lunch?

I will happily be in my favorite place in just 2 WEEKS!!!!

I ate lunch at BOG solo in February and didn't wait in line long, but by myself I was happy to wait. This trip, I would really like my parents to see the place and enjoy the yumminess I have! My question is- is there a better time to get in line than another? Is it better to get there first thing or has anyone had luck with a late lunch? And when does lunch end? I'm just trying to have some sort of plan for our first day.

Thank you for your help!

Are you staying onsite? If so you can get a FP for lunch - https://beourguestlunch.disney.go.com/ Gives you a seating window and you can preselect your meal if you like.

Yes! Hmmm... I really need to push my Dad to do that stuff. He wants take care of it but is taking his sweet time :hilarious: He's not so sure about this fastpass+ stuff. And there is some logistical stuff we have to figure out since it is our arrival day and we already have our tickets. We would have to check in before going to the park to use the fastpass+ that first day?

We are driving and meeting up with 6 other family members arriving later that day, he may just want to go straight to the park....just thinking out loud now. Something to think about. Thanks!

Another vote for the FP+ - there's no credit card guarantee associated with it and it won't take away from your attraction FP+s. We were at WDW last month and the line was really long. Reports of hour+ waits were coming in. With FP+, we walked right in at the beginning of our FP window. If you have the reservation #, you can even book this for the whole party. I'd also highly recommend ordering your food in advance.

I have 3 room reservations for my entire party yet when I try to book this fastpass+ onto my disney account it only gives me the option of one reservation number and it only includes 2 of us from one room. Not the rest of my party. Do anyone know a fix for this? Thanks!

I think you need to link all of your party together to get it to work.

I'd guess toward the beginning and end of lunch service would be best - weirder times (10:30AM, 2PM or whatever). ETA: WHY is it so hard to find the hours for lunch?? o_O

The line doesn't always take as long as it looks. Here's how it went for me on 9/7 (with no FP+...and trust me, I tried to get one).

Time stamp on this picture is 12:29PM (so you can see I'm in the back of the line, which has wrapped around and goes off the bridge):

Time stamp on this picture is 12:50PM (in the room where the CMs take your order and you pay):

Time stamp on this picture is 12:57PM...time to eat!

So overall it was no bad at all. The meal itself was definitely more expensive than most other counter service places I've been to (my entree + drink + cupcake was almost $20!), however it was definitely up there as one of the best counter service meals I've had on-property.

I'm having the same issue and my reservations have been linked.
