I toured the Warner Brothers Studios. They had an exibit completly devoted to the Harry Potter movie with props and costumes. We saw the set of "Friends" the out door set of "ER" Doc Magoos, and so much more!!!!!!!! We saw the cast of ER and the Drew Cary show come out of the studios for their lunch break, and we saw Drew Cary!!!!!! It was really facinating.:)

Well if you're a wine drinker, then you'll have to try and make time for some wine-tasting (I assume you're asking because you're planning a visit?). We have the best wine in the world here in California. Northern California and the Central Coast are where the absolute best wineries are, but if you are only going to be in Southern California, then try and make time to go to Temecula. That region is known for it's white wines if you like those.

We also have what I consider to be the single most beautiful spot on the planet...Yosemite National Park. It is a photographer's paradise! Allow a couple of days to see it.

San Diego is another area that is definitely worth a visit. I'm not a huge fan of shopping malls, but Horton Plaza is a must see just because the architecture is so interesting. You'll feel as though you are walking around in an MC Escher drawing. Also visit the Hotel Del Coronado. It is a beautiful historic hotel that looks a lot like the Grand Floridian. And one of the rooms is supposedly haunted.

Hope that helps!

Universal Studios! Not as much to see as the one in Florida, but Shrek 3-D just opened there!

And if you want, try to get tickets to a filming of a show you like. Its pretty easy to get into the Tonight Show...just pop in the studio ticket counter and ask for free tickets. Somedays the tickets go out faster than others...and some nights there isn't even a full house, like when we went last year (I guess no one was all that hyped about seeing Dr. Phil...I WAS THOUGH! lol). If you look on the internet, you can find what shows might be filmed during your stay and order tickets...I think they are free.
