This reminds me of a Real Mad Hatter question! :)
I am seriously getting ready to plan a Thanksgiving trip to WDW (my post with questions asking for help is on the trip planning forum) and as we have never been there at that time period, I would love your experience with where to eat to get that Thanksgiving feel of meals on Turkey Day.Does Liberty Tree Tavern serve the same standard meal as on any other day or are there extras? As we have eaten at Liberty Tree so often, I was thinking maybe there were other places that give the whole Thanksgiving experience. Any recommendations??

Ate at liberty tree this past thanksgiving. In my opinion, it's the best place to get what I call a thanksgiving meal in WDW!! We also did mickeys backyard BBQ one year and that was great as well!!!

Almost every restaurant in WDW will serve a variation of the Traditional Thanksgiving meal. The T-day menus usually come out around September/October so don't wait. I would pick a favorite restaurant or a restaurant that is convienent for any plans for that day. Keep in mind that MK will be near capacity on T-day so maybe a trip to Epcot may be in the cards or plan your meal @ a resort.

IMHO Liberty Tree is not the place to go. It seems like that is many peoples choice so they can have their turkey. Unfortunately their food is not all that good and with the characters being gone I do not kow how they draw a crowd.

For Thanksgiving in the past I have eaten @ Liberty Tree, Tony's Town Square, Le Cellier and Cape May Cafe. All those restaurants had turkey, stuffing and the works available. My favorite out of those for T-day was Tony's Town Square and that is amazing because I am not a huge fan of Tony's.

No matter whare you go you will be @ WDW for T-day and that is a good thing!

I am PM'ing you a link to T-day menus.

We actually really like Liberty Tree Tavern. Their pot roast is delicious. Everyone's taste buds differ. To each his own, I guess! :)

I like Liberty Tree as well, I think the turkey dinner is great. However it is difficult to get into for Thanksgiving. When I went at Thanksgiving we ate at Whispering Canyon, their turkey dinner was fantastic too and I love seeing that resort at Christmastime too.
