I haven't been to Disney in years. But I used to really love the show they had I think at MGM where it was bleacher seating & they reflected different movies on the water & there was live action too. I'm not sure if they still do that one. But I'd love to get some opinions on which show is the best? I want to make the most out of my trip. It's the first year that my little girl will really be able to appreciate it, we haven't been there since she was 3 or 4 & she is about to turn 8!

Magic Kingdom
Mainstreet Electrical Parade
Wishes Fireworks Show

Hollywood Studios
Fantasmic (the show you were talking about)
Frozen Fireworks (never seen these myself)

Epcot
IllumiNations Reflections of Earth

All of these are really must sees for all ages. They are some of the best night shows I've ever seen. IllumiNations is probably my favorite. The show is out of this world.

Thank you so much for all the replies! This is going to be a hard decision! Do they all go on around the same time?

There's probably 20-30 minutes between shows. You'll have to pick up a brochure when you enter the park to get official times. Some shows like Fantasmic are sometimes played twice in one night. so there's a little flexibility.

Illuminations is my #1 preference, Always get a great viewing spot. Best fireworks & narration available.
Followed by Wishes .... but I usually get some idiot thats 10' tall move in front of me just as it starts with a huge recording device held up in my viewing line of sight
Then Fantasmic as long as I dont have a group of kids in front of me with the spinning light up thingys that bother me. And those hard metal benches are hard to take after a while.
Dont forget the Electrical Water parade at the Bay Lake resorts. Not very exciting but fun to watch at the end of the day. How about if they could shoot off some bottle rockets during the patriotic part??

We echo the Illuminations, Wishes, Fantasmic, and EWP order. Illuminations speaks to our worldwide aspirations, Wishes to our individual aspirations, Fantasmic to our enjoyment of Disney movies, and EWP to our simple appreciation of syncing entertainment to timing and music. We agree that bottle rockets would be great during the end of EWP.

1. Fantasmic! I can watch every night - matter of fact I am making a point to watch it at least 5 times
2. Wishes - simply amazing

That is about it for me. While a lot of people on here love Illuminations - it does not really do anything for me. MSEP I will never go out of my way to watch and normally if I see it - its because I am blocked off from crossing into Frontierland to ride Splash Mountain.

We like Illuminations best followed by Wishes. The biggest issue we find with Fantasmic is that you are corralled into a viewing area and herded out with the thousands of others that just saw the show. With Illuminations and Wishes you don't have to be stuck with the crowds. We view Illuminations from WS and Wishes away from the hub to completely avoid the mass exodous after the shows. Plus both of those shows are just amazing!!

Yes
I don't care much for fireworks anymore, but whenever I'm at MK I simply cannot leave without staying to see at least some of the MSEP. I'm hooked on Baroque Hoedown, and thousands of sparkling lights are simply irresistible to me.
The parade is also great for kids since it incorporates so many characters from the movies.

Thanks for all the replies! I think we will try to see Illuminations this trip, since we have seen Fantasmic a few times before already.

My gf & I were very impressed with Celebrate the Magic! If I could only see one night show I would go to MK because you get the parade, celebrate the magic, & fireworks all in one.

Best show at the end of the night? That one is easy..........park yourself on a bench (in any park) and watch the masses exit..........seriously, it is quite enjoyable to see everyone running to get to the transportation etc.
