Best rooms to stay in at Port Orleans French Quarter?

Hi all,
Now that the Port Orleans French Quarter is open (thanks to the cast member that posted that it was reopened!), we will stay there in November.
Does anyone have an opinion as to what the best areas/rooms to stay in are?
There will be 8 of us - 5 adults and 3 kids (one 10yr old and two 7yr olds).
We like to hang out at the main pool and not be too far from the food.
But close to a bus stop.
Any suggestions?

Just tell the CM checking you in that you want to be near the pool/lobby. They're right by each other. There's not really specific areas of this resort like at Coronado, Riverside, CBR, etc.
We ALWAYS request a king bed b/c that means we'll definitely get a corner room with a nice big window. This might not work for you if you are taking kids.

Building 6 & 7 are nice. FQ only has one bus stop. Also the walk to the main pool and Food Court is very short. You will have to walk to Riverside if you want to eat at a sit down place with a waiter. You will also have to go to Riverside to take the boat to Downtown Disney It's a nice trip by boat. The walk from FQ to Riverside is about a mile according to the Riverside map. FQ is my favorite resort. It is small, and quite. There a beautiful courtyards and quite pools too.

You can get the boat to DTD from French Quarter as well as Riverside. There is no reason to walk over to the other resort to get the boat.

Also, the walk between resorts isn't a mile. It is shorter than that (also depends on where you are in one resort and where you are going in the other).
