I'm going to be at Disney World in February of 2002. I've been there before, but have'nt found there are many good restaurants. I was wondering what are some of the best Dinsey World restaurants that you can get for a reasonable price?
thanks

hands down for me Pecos Bill's at Magic Kingdom I eat there everytime I am at the Magic Kingdom. Since they re-did it ah it is great A/C'ed for those August days and a Great spot for Parades

We've never eaten in the others, so the choice was easy. My wife swears by the grilled chicken salad. Personally, I'm a burger guy myself. You can't go wrong here. The only drawback is no chicken tenders. Get there early if you want a good seat for a parade.

Apples and Oranges...

Well, I voted for Fulton's, but that is the obvious choice. You are looking at $75 a head there though. You might be able to get out of there for about $50, but no less.

Pecos Bill is a counter service restaurant, ok food, but you get what you pay for.

ESPN Club is fun, especially if there at night. Food is pretty good, great atmosphere if you like sports. $15 per person would do it.

Hollywood and Vine isn't my favorite restaurant, but it's not bad. Price varies upon time of day.

Brown Derby is a replica of the original Brown Derby, and the food is pretty good there. I really have enjoyed eating there. It is a quiet refuge from the MGM noise. I think our meal was $60 for four of us for lunch.

Liberty Tree is a fun place. They have great pot roast and other 18th century favorites. Good place to relax from the long day at Magic Kingdom. Dinner is about $20 per person.

Overall, there are far better restaurants that those you mentioned. Any of the deluxe hotels feature wonderful restaurants. Artist's Point, Spoodles, Flying Fish and Jiko are some of my favorites. Spoodles is reletively inexpensive, has a great variety of food and is in a convenient location. I never miss it. Oh, and don't miss Kona Cafe in the Polynesian. It is the best breakfast around.

Just about any of the quick service restaurants have specialty items at moderate prices. At the MK, I've enjoyed the bread bowl vegetarian chili at Columbia Harbor house (doesn't need meat), the salads at Cosmic Ray's. Salad portions are generally large enough to share.

Really, the same goes for any of the parks. Epcot has a couple of restaurants that are often overlooked... most notably the QSR at Japan.

I would have voted for Pecos Bill but it replaced the Mile long  ...now we have 3 less animatronics from Country Bear Jamboree!

Anyway, I think that Liberty Tree has the best food...and the bread and apple butter...oh....and the lovely setting...and they even give you recepies to get home! What a lovely restaurant... I've never gone for the characters, though. In fact, I've never even SEEN them there!

Of these, Fulton's is definately the best, great seafood and atmosphere. Definately make reservations if you are going for dinner.
I have to suggest Palio's at the WDW Dolphin to you, though.
Great Italian food and atmosphere and the accordian player played Bella Notte from "Lady and the Tramp" for my (then) two year old :sohappy:
