best restaurant for adults

Depends on your taste,but......since you asked. I enjoy the California Grill every time we eat there. Great views. We also try to eat at the Flying Fish at the Boardwalk.

Happy eating to you:slurp:

I agree - it does depend on your taste (and style!)

We really enjoyed Spoodles (on the Boardwalk.)
The food (and drinks) was FANTASTIC and the waitstaff were very attentive.

I always liked Artist Point (at Wilderness Lodge). It's quiet and intimate, eligantly themed, with great views. Bongos at Marketplace is also very good, if you like Cuban food, and a louder, more festive atmosphere. And, of course, there's a number of options at Epcot - Mexico, France, Italy, Canada.

I've never eaten at Spoodles, but heard alot of great things about it from friends.

I enjoyed 'Ohanas, but there are kids there. The pineapple bread was the best! (I think that was what was in it!)

But if you want no kids (although I've never been there) go to Victoria & Alberts...

I'll get there someday! :)

This has been my experience in the last 5 years... and I'm someone that goes to WDW just for the food.

"Adult" restaurants - those with very good food, great wine lists, a quiet atmosphere, and usually well behaved, quiet kids if any at all.

California Grill - Contemporary Resort
Citricos - Grand Floridian Resort
Palios - Swan
Artist's Point - Wilderness Lodge
Jiko - Animal Kingdom Lodge
Yachtsman Steakhouse - Yacht Club Resort

Slightly noiser restaurants with more children but still great food and a good experience.

Flying Fish - Disney's Boardwalk.
Spoodles - Disney's Boardwalk
Coral Reef - Epcot Livings Seas.

I've noticed the later you eat, the quieter things get. We tend to make priority dinner seatings for after 8:30. On our last trip we ate at California Grill and Yachtsman Steakhouse after the fireworks at MK and Epcot. Both experiences were simply wonderful.

A few of you have mentioned Victoria and Alberts. Is it really worth the money especially with the wine pairings. Does anyone have any thoughts about the Chef's Table?

I have been thinking of going there on our next trip, but I think I need a little convincing.

Help me out PLEASE!

Iowafan, since you're travelling in December, try Artist Point in the Wilderness Lodge. I'm told that the Christmas decorations here are worth the trip alone, but the restaurant is quite good. You can also get a glass of wine from the bar and sit in front of the fireplace in the lobby, very romantic! :)

Well, it is pretty expensive. If you want something special then yes it is worth it. I took my wife there for a dinner on our honeymoon andit was amazing. I've not done the wine pairings. I did order a bottle the last time, but that puts it at the high end for me so I got a cheap bottle (it was still good though). Watch the wine cause they have bottles that can cost over $1,000.00. That is not a typo. As for the chef's table, I don't know what it costs. I'm sure its great, but The standard seating there is enough of a treat for me.

Meega, nala kwishta!
Yep, Jiko at AKL or Flying Fish at BW. Both are excelent place to get a very good meal.

Jiko is quiet, while Fish can get a bit loud, but you can't go wrong with either.
