Best Resort Recreation

What are the best resorts for the different types of recreation? me and my friends are looking to do these sporting activities around WDW and want to know which places are best, even though some have more options for recreation than others. The Sports we are looking at are Basketball , Tennis , Boating , and Volleyball . Also which miniature golf is better Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland? Finally we read that the Boardwalk is the only place you'l find traditional carnival games that you would see at places like Six flags and other amusement parks, does anybody know what games are there and are they expensive?

Best recreation is at Fort Wilderness. Since that's mostly a campground, your best bet is the Wilderness Lodge, since you can walk to Fort Wilderness from there.

Miniature Golf: I'm a huge fan of Fantasia Gardens. They have a more or less Disney-fied mini-golf course, and they have a miniature golf course (i.e. you have a tee and a pin, and there are sand traps and such along the way).

Boardwalk: I don't think the Boardwalk has games like these. I think the only place in WDW that does is in Dino-rama at Animal Kingdom.

The BoardWalk had a basketball shooting game. Make 3 shots and win a prize. Thats all they have tho.

Dino-Rama at AK, as was mentioned, also has "midway" style games for skill testing.

Let's not forget the "grand father" of all the WDW REsorts. Disney's Contemporary Resort has tennis, volleyball, and the Food 'n Fun Center with all kinds of arcade and skill games. However, the games there are not like the ones you find at a Six Flags Park. From the Contemporary, there used to be a water taxi that took guests over to Fort Wilderness Camground.

We just got back from the swan. They have beach volleyball, basketball court, I dont know about the tennis and you can rent the mouse boats at the yacht and beach and the swan has the swan boats. Our 3 ds played the carnival games on the boardwalk. There are only about 3 or 4 games. One won a little monkey, one a parrot and one a shark (nemo inspired theme of game prizes).
