Best places for a young adult to live

I'm about to start working for Disney this summer. I was hoping to find a place in between Disney and Orlando to live. I want to be able to have a night life and be around people my age, without having a super long commute to work. I don't know the area very well and Google has varying reviews on different apartments so I figured I'd ask the forum. Price wise I'm looking at $700 max, roommates are fine I just don't know anyone yet. Although I guess I have some time to find someone.

Sorry if this is off topic but thanks in advance for any replies.

I might be able to offer some suggestions with more information...

1. By "nightlife" what do you mean? Tourist spots? College bars? Broadway plays? 24-hour Steak'n'Shake?
2. "people your age" - what age bracket are we talking?
3. What are you thinking is an acceptable commute time? Central Florida is more spread out in general than a lot of places up north or out west so perceptions might vary.
