Hello explorers!

I have quickly become a pin trading fanatic...to put it lightly. I am planning my second trip for September and I want to know all the MUST SEE pin trading locations. For example, I had no idea the Polynesian had a massive board where I found two pins that made the trip that much more magical! So give me your tips, tricks and fun findings!

Thanks!

Don’t know much about trading but the best place to buy pins in my experience is the pin store at Disney Springs. One thing I will warn you about trading with others and using trading boards is to watch out for fakes/scrappers. They are rife in the parks due to people on eBay selling cheap lots of fakes so be careful if you want a genuine collection.

If you want to trade with other park goers and not cast members, you can usually catch one or two collectors hovering outside of Starbucks by the high top tables at EPCOT. But beware, I’ve ran into a few aggressive and pushy traders there so be careful and protect your pins!

Weekends at EPCOT if you are looking for pin traders, go to the right after you pass the big ball and you should see them if they are still there... which is normally on weekends but often they will be gone by mid afternoon. You can find a mix there, sometimes you will get a pin trader that is just doing it for fun, but very often its the pros that will only trade for a specific one they are missing.

If you are trading for the fun of it then you'll never have any problems, but if you are doing it to really collect then as the other poster said beware there are lots of fakes, and more often than not the CMs will also be trading fakes... so if you are going to be serious about it then I suggest you study up on the pins to make sure you know what you should be on the look out for to tell if its real or fake.
